    I thought a draft day trade deal was already settled with Denver?

    Not really. Denver has a contract in place IF a deal is made.

    I don't think Round 3 is possible anymore after all of the knee issues floating around.

    I think a 4th or 5th round is more likely.

    Straight up, huh? I hope you are being sarcastic...

    Robertson = 4th overall bust Defensive Tackle who has knee issues and a outrageous contract. Dewayne Robertson has 14.5 career sacks.

    Sheppard = 2 time pro bowl selection in 2004 and in 2006. Only player in NFL History with two Interception returns for over 100 yards. He has 17 career Interceptions and has scored 3 TD's in his career.

    You do the math...there will be NO straight up trade with the Eagles.

    Sheppard for D-slob would be the shizzle! Too bad we couldn't throw in J-slack...the eagles need a receiver.

    As the draft approaches maybe more teams get interested and his value goes up. The big key here will be how obtrusive will he and his agent be about the re-structure. I would be happy with maybe a #4 and a #5.

    sheppard is probably better than assante samuel. but the eagles obviously dont know that. being they packed his bags to ridculously overpay samuel.

    D-Rob and a 4th maybe?

    agreed. i hope the jets at least explore a deal that could include shepperd. i know he's oft injured, but he is a top corner, and would improve our team at a position of need.

    I don't know if the Jets have enough money to sign Sheppard and the picks even without Robertson's contract. It would be tight. Even if they did it would probably create a problem next year. I guess they could figure out a way.
