It is getting pathetic now. Oh wait, it has been for awhile. 1 year suspension minimum, starting now. This new IR rumor is horrible. When will it stop? Whenever the NFL does something about it. The only penalty they got was losing the #31 overall pick even though they had the #7 overall, and money. Thats not enough.

So thats the secret to winning 18 games. Practice with guys that aren't going to play on Sunday. The sheer evil brilliance of this scheme is going to make my head explode.

honestly... he must have some tapes of the commish naked with one of Spitzers call girl friends, because he is the biggest enabler... first he's detroying evidence, then slaps them on the rist with the loss of a draft pick and a fine to the organization, and a fine to Bellidick. Yet no disciplinary actions... no probation, suspension... nothing... he hit an already rich mans wallet... thats like stealing a beer from a frat party... did ya think anyone was really gonna notice? In the grand scheme... no

This is sad... for a guy cracking down on players, he may also want to start looking at coaches. This is what 4 times he's in the papers/news for things that could be detrimental to the league in under a year... I know a few players, also eventually found innocent of most of there crimes, who were bannished for a year... It's about time he wielded that stick on a level playing ground for the coaches too.

although this is cheating, your going to suspend him because he practiced people that were on the ir, now i know this couldnt hurt but really how much of an advantage do you think it gave them. Im going to go with none.

I'm not worried about an advantage... but how many rules are they going to let this guy break while just turning the other cheak? When does it stop? Why does he get to make a mockary of the NFL and it's Rules? I mean this is rediculous... he basically can do whatever he wants, with out fear of a substantial consiquence from the league... oh... wait they might fine him again, that will go a long way, and he'll say he didn't know it was wrong and that will make this alright too...

I forgot... ignorance is an excuse that's viable... my bad

    18 -1, baby.

EDIT: And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Mangini get cited for this in a big angry retaliating d*ck sort of way?

Seriously, when does it stop with this guy...didn't put in Ted Johnson knowing he wasn't ready after some concussion issues. This guy is scum, he makes a mockery of the NFL and doesn't get punished. He must have some incriminating evidence against Goodell or something.

As much as I hate the Pats, I don't see this as being a big deal.

Jets fans are self-haters. We don't love anyone else. Wrap your enabling brain around that.

More evidence of the fundmental corruption and cyncism of the Belly regime:

<Tucker told "NFL Live" that Patriots coach Bill Belichick will do anything he can "to get an advantage." He also added that using a player on injured reserve in practice was of "minimal" benefit.>

So Belly was willing to potentially ruin someone's career for "'minimal' benefit" to his team? What I want to know is when is the Commish gonna put the hurt on Belly?

At this point beating them in the Reg season is good enuff for me...The Pats are gonna be the most legit team this year because everyone is watching....just beat them at least once this year and I'll be happy...the past is the past...beat them now

I agree, who was injured, and why would it matter?

Not sure of the point of this.

Its the simple fact that he has a total disregard for the rules of the NFL. And if he has a disregard for the NFL maybe it should have a disregard for him and he should go be a coach of some AFL team.

The commish needs to do something to repair the image of the game, what with all the criminals and cheating going around. Isn't that his job, to increase the popularity and respect of the game? (along with being judge, jury, and executioner)

With that said Bellicheck needs more than just a slap on the wrist. He's a paranoid and neurotic cheater and that can only hurt the game. That's my 2 cents.
