Found an article by Randy Lange on the Jet site. I guess this will be the Non-PSL seating. I like the way he wrote it like its not big deal. Randy is a Jet flunkie and can no longer be taken seriously.Bottom line how stange is this. First come, first serve. That's how they are going to get us in and spend money.

For those behind and around the goalposts, you'll be playing your own particular brand of zone defense. With general admission seats right down to the front row, the end zone will be a green wall of rabid fans

My buddy has end-zone seats. Personally, I hate them as you're watching half the game on the jumbo-tron.

Lower level end zone suck. Upper deck end zone are fine and besides the article says around the goal posts and that includes my section. 314 which are great seats. Stay downstaris and pay 5k per seat. Enjoy!!!!

Any seat is a good seat at a live game.

Lange is now an employee of the NY Jets, and that has to make him a "Homer". He is still the best NY Jets writer

As I've said before, I don't think anyone will be immune from the destruction and havoc.

If the PSLs are too steep in the Club sections, people currently holding good seats and who have many years of longevity as ticketholders are going to be demanding good seats just outside of those rape areas. The rape area seats will be sold easily to corporations.

This sets up a chain reaction right down the food chain, with everyone in better seats being bounced to lesser seats and so on. No one will escape having to play "musical chairs," or what amounts to the Jets' version of "Old Maid," the people up in the top of the end zones in the Upper Tier eventually holding onto the Old Maid.

"With general admission seats right down to the front row, the end zone will be a green wall of rabid fans."

Puzzling thing to say. The End Zones will be a "green wall of rabid fans?" Why can't the whole stadium be that?

Oh yeah, I forgot. Because the Club seats are for the jerked off corporate perk recipients from out of town. I guess we can't expect somebody from Des Moines or Grand Rapids to join the ranks of the "green wall of rabid fans."

What a total sham this all is, a total destruction of game-day fan base as we know it. Good Luck to the NY Jets and Giants. They're going to need it, because the stands will be filled with mostly uncaring, non-Jets fans from across the country. What an unexciting, boring event for most.

This post is probably pretty accurate.

The Club seats are going to have outrageous PSL's. If the Jets are competing for a Super Bowl, they will sell like hot cakes. That's why Woody spent all the money this off season. In order to get the prices he wants, the team will have to be very competitive.

He'll make that 140 or so million back in about an hour if they look like Champs

    tickets

I personally dont have season tickets(I'm only 15:sad:). But my uncle who has been a giants season ticket holder since like 57' has season tickets. So every home game i go to im on the 50 yard line,1st tier, 8th-12th row. I love the jets but you cant pass up these tickets for free.

You are wrong. All the real fans will be in the upper deck side and back of end zone so we will rock up there kinda like the Ranger blue seats while the rest of the place goes corporate. Glad I am upstairs side of the end zone with 28 years under my belt. Feel sorry for upper deckers with little time on their account. The whole thing sucks but at least I have hope that I might not get hit with the PSL's and remain a season tic holder.

I disagree on that. I agree that there can be some really shitty seats at a football game and being behind the end zone really close up can royally suck because you can only really see like 40% of the game.

That being said, here's my take on the 4 "big" sports on live vs. TV.

Baseball - great live from 95% of the seats, good on TV
Basketball - amazing live from 5% of the seats, mediocre from 95% of the seats and on TV
Hockey - amazing live, awful on TV
Football - amazing live from 95% of the seats, great on TV

95% of the season tic holders have the same hope you have so you cannot consider yourself out of harm's way. That's what I'm talking about, we're all hoping we don't get hit with PSLs, so we're all in that boat.

But please don't think that because you're in a current area that appears to be out of harm's way and not in the area of proposed PSLs, that you won't be affected. This is going to be a ripple effect right on down the food chain, from the top (the best seats and longest time in the seat) right on down to the guy who just picked up his Uppers last year.

That's the guy who needs to bring an umbrella with him to every game, regardless of where his seats are now, because he'll be dodging pidgeon droppings in the new stadium for the first 10 years.

You're making it seem like it's so awesome now and it's going to be so lame after next year....but remember Alio's "Season Ticket holders suck" thread from last year? We all kinda came to the conclusion that we have some of the worst fans in sports. With the buzz over the new stadium (when it opens) it's possible that it will be great and it's the "now" that sucks. I mean, we do lead the world in no-shows, cheer when Chad gets hurt, and really are only there to get drunk and terrorize girls into stripping at gate D. :)
