ask Kentucky Jet for the link since he sucks at posting links :p
    From the survey:

"The Jets are surveying different types and terms of Personal Seat Licenses (PSLs) as one of the ways to help achieve this requirement. A PSL is an asset, like a taxi medallion, that is purchased in addition to the ticket that gives the holder ownership of their seat. This holder can then sell the seat license in the future, including for any profit, to someone else if the holder no longer wishes to purchase season tickets.

PSLs have been sold in virtually every new NFL stadium built in the past 15 years as a way of paying for construction costs. For example, the Dallas Cowboys have announced a PSL program with prices ranging $2,000 to $12,000 for general admission seats and from $16,000 to $150,000 for club seats.

Now we would like to present you with some alternative general admission seating options. These seats might have different locations in the new stadium, different ticket prices and different PSL (personal seat license) prices. The PSL may also have different time periods over which you can pay off the cost. Please look at all of the elements of each description carefully and then rate your likelihood of buying the PSL and season ticket for those general admission seats using an 11-point scale where 10 means you certainly would buy them and 0 means there is no chance you would buy them, including any number in-between. Then indicate how many seats you would buy."

    Here are the basic costs:

Upper Level- Between the 30s. $4000 PSL. $1050/year tickets.
Upper Corner- $800 up front, $800/year for 5 years- PSL. $1000/year tickets
Upper End Zone- $500 up front, $500/year for 5 years- PSL. $900/year tickets.
Upper Level 30s to the end zone- $300 up front, $135/year for 15 years- PSL. $1050/year tickets.
Upper Level 30 to corner- $200 up front, $200/year for 5 years- PSL. $1000/year tickets.

Lower Level- Between the 30s. $5000 up front, $5000/year the next 5 years- PSL. $1650/year tickets.
Lower Level- 30 to the end zone. $20000 PSL. $1450/year ticket.
Lower End Zone- $2400 up front, $2400/year for 5 years- PSL. $1050/year ticket.
Lower 30 to corner- $400 up front, $400/year for 5 years- PSL. $1365/year ticket.

    Coaches Club Seats:
Lower Level- Top 10 rows between 30 and 40. $4000 up front, $1800/year for 5 years- PSL. $6250/year ticket
Lower Level- 50 Yard Line, Top 10 Rows. $50000- PSL. $6250/year ticket.
Lower Level 50 Yard Line- $30000- PSL. $6250/year ticket.
    Lower Level- 1st 10 rows between 30 and 40- $2500 up front, $2500/year for 5 years- PSL $6250/year ticket.

Mezz between 20 and end zone- $2000 up front, $2000/year for 5 years. $5250/year ticket.
Mezz between 20 and end zone- $15000- PSL. $5250/year ticket.
    Mezz between 20 and 40- $15000- PSL. $5250/year ticket.
    Mezz- 50 yard line- $8000 up front, $3500/year for 15 years-PSL. $5250/year ticket.

What is the source for this? It doesn't make much sense. You have better seats with lower PSLs than worse seats(lower between 30s at 30k psl but lower club seats at less than 20k psl). Overlapping areas with drasticly different psls(lower 30 to corner $2,400 PSL vs lower 30 to end zone 20k PSL)
    This info looks pretty questionable.

WHOA! Hold on here...I'm hoping these are fictitious numbers? I have Mezz seats across from the Goal Line...I'm hoping that this is sort of a joke???? I'm probably in the minority, in that I only have 2 season tickets...Who in their right mind can shell out $10,000+, and then have to pay for their season tickets????? If this is anywhere close to being true, I would love to see that stadium EMPTY. So put me down for a "0".

I believe they are different options of how you can pay these off ,I am guessing my seats in lower section 105 are listed as a $20,000 PSL or I can pay $1.450 ,now if thats the case then how much do I pay if I pay the $20,000 PSL..........$1,250 per ticket would be a fair price for my seats with all the other cash this stadium is bringing in

...and you also mean to tell me that my tickets for the year for one seat in the Mezzanine are going to be $5,250???? So face value is going to be $525 per ticket, per game???? Does this come with unlimited boooze+lap dances?????

I thought this was for the PSL ($2000 up front, $2000/year for 5 years) = $12,000. And the other charge was what your ticket cost per year will be for the seats ($5,250)...Or is he trying to say you can pay $5,250 up front once, or finance this PSL and pay over double? Doesnt make any sense to me???

Sit me up in the nosebleeds, I don't mind :)

I missed the option on that survey that says "Fuck you Jets, I don't want PSL's at all". Now THAT would be interesting to see :)

That's how I was reading it too. Since I don't mind the upper deck, I actually prefer it as I like to see everything that's going on, these are my options:

Upper End Zone- $500 up front, $500/year for 5 years- PSL. $900/year tickets.
Upper Level 30 to corner- $200 up front, $200/year for 5 years- PSL. $1000/year tickets.

Since I was only going to get two tickets to start, that would be either:

$1000 up front, $1000/year for 5 years, so $6000 for two PSL's. $1800/yr total for the tickets. That's doable for me.

    or

$400 up front, $400/year for 5 years, so $2400 for two PSL's. $2000/yr total for the tickets. That's even more doable.

This informaiton seems to be the same that I got from a survey I was sent to take - I didn't have enough posts to start a new thread about it. They gave you a bunch of different options of seat locations and prices, and asked how likely you were to buy those tickets. Some seats had multiple pricing options for the same location - I'm sure they are trying to figure out what will fly and what won't. I would say those numbers are not set in stone - but will give you a good ballpark of what the Jets are thinking

I have two upstairs and two downstairs, so hopefully I'll be able to keep at least one pair. Maybe upstairs if these numbers pan out to be anywhere close to accurate.

I took the survey as well. Bottom line there was maybe 1 or 2 "scenarios" that I might be able to swing but the rest were outrageous.

I haven't been mailed such a survey. Are you two guys on the waiting list? Was this survey mailed to you as a feeler?

If the numbers in the Mezz are true, I'm out of my seats and bitching and moaning until I get reasonably priced, decent seats in some other section. The Mezz is out of the question.

I am not on the waiting list...nor have I been mailed a survey. And I'm not trying to be a smartass, but WTF is with the ticket prices in the Mezz? I'm hoping whoever started this had a very fat finger...because I don't think Knicks floor seats cost over $400. So $525 for Mezz is downright silly...

"Harris Interactive, a leading International research firm,
is conducting a study to better understand sports fans and
live sporting event attendance. The survey will only take
    30 minutes to complete.
