This is really making me laugh....

    1) Why not put the numbers ONLY from last year? We all know Chad was a good QB before he got injured so many times.
    2) Most of his long passing yards were from our fearless WRs........YAC.
    3) Some Fins fans are so fucked, they think Chad is their savior. OMG I cann't wait for Game 1.
    4) Time to bet which Jets defensive player will break Chad's leg first? I go with Gholston.

Tim Graham was a reporter for the Bills, Fins, and Pats at one point in his career. He never cracked the NY media. That must bother him. He loses.

chad did complete a good amount of his deep balls, but when you throw it once every 3 games it should catch the defense off guard.

I never really thought Pennington's arm was as bad as people made it out to be.
even so, we've seen how far Chad could take us, now lets see how Favre Brett can take us!

He was terrible last season. before last year, he wasn't THIS bad. My guess is the weak OL hightlighted the problem.

My guess is that he couldn't throw the ball past 30 yards effectively.

HAAAATTERRR....it's amazing how much latent hatred (Anti-Jetisism?) there is against the Jets.

Have another glass of dumb, bozo.

How funny it is how much Jets fans forget what Chad did to that Greenbay team 2 years ago - so much that Favre was benched in the 4th quarter? Guess Chad may remind them in the upcoming Miami game.

"The main reasons for the disparity were Favre's interceptions and Pennington's judiciousness. Only 3.7 percent of Pennington's passes got picked off. Favre's daredevil antics helped inflate his interception rate to 12.1 percent."

It would be interesting to see how patient the team and Jets fans are if by chance he throws more INTs than TDs starting out...

06 Chad had a line and a running game. And the defense did amazing that day.

He other time he beat the Packers was 2002. You know, when he was the Chad he could have been if not for the injuries.

I'd like to see 32 year old Chad beat his old team with a line similar to the 07 Jets and a defense that has no one on it. Name someone of worth that Chad is throwing to? Who is covering that guy? Revis. Who is making the calls in the defensive huddle? Harris. Who is ballhawking anything deep? Rhodes. Who is stopping the run in the middle? Jenkins.

How is Chad going to single handedly beat the Jets with that Miami team? They did nothing to improve the team for the short term. Jake Long is seen as a decent LT and an amazing RT, he has trouble against speed rushers. Who did Long give up sacks to in college? Gholston.

Again, tell me how Chad is going to pick apart his old team's defense?

This fear of dellusion that this guy is really going to beat us is astounding. If he went to Tampa Bay, Minnesota, or even Detroit - I'd be worried about facing Pennington again. But he has the weapons of a Division 1-AA team around him, and a defense that is not going to stop anyone. The Jets beat them last year 41-13 with KC at the helm, not Brett Favre.

Why the hell is everyone so worried?

Well when your throwing 5 yard out patterns the whole season and then you throw a bomb out of nowhere you catch people off guard. Interesting numbers

I've read some more of this guy's espn blog, it's not that bad.

This was an incredibly stupid post, with logic that makes my brain hurt. But that doesn't make him an idiot all the time.
