I'm going to the game this weekend, my first game in many years WITHOUT a parking pass.
Does anyone have advice for where i should park, not having a parking pass? can i just pull up and pay $15 and park somewhere relatively close, or will i be in some satelite lot and need to get bussed to the stadium and all that?
what happens if i don't have a parking pass?

any help is greatly appreciated! thanks

You need a pass to park at the stadium or else its satellite parking. You might be able to get a parking pass of ebay or maybe at the jets site.

No need for a parking pass. You pay 20 bucks at the entrance and the nice traffic guards direct you from there.

I believe this is correct for preseason games, so don't sweat it. For regular season games, it will be a different story, but you are good for Saturday.

If you plan on going early, Tell the attendant that you are going to the Racetrack. The track is open for simulcasting until 4 pm, they ususlly give you a voucher to redeem when you go to the track. You can go to the track, and get back your money or not since you are not really going to the track anyway.

I know that I have gone to the track when they had a soccer game. Track parking is free, so you pay whatever the price for the game is, they give you a voucher and when you walk in to the racetrack, there is a guy that gives you cash back for your parking voucher. I play the ponies, and I know that the BIG M is open until 4 on Sat.. Hell I may even lay a few bets before tailgating. So, If you were to show up around 2 or 3 o'clock or earlier, the guards may not even be at the gate yet, but the lots at least the ones closest to the track will definately have cars there (Its Travers Day at Saratoga).

I'd like to help you out with some advice, gmay8, but lately I've been buying the Prepaid Parking because of the immense hassle over there right now.

I wouldn't bet on being able to duke the parking lot attendants, either. I used to get away with that and park in the Stadium Club parking lot by handing the guy a 10-spot, but they've long since cracked down on bribes.

I think your best bet is to try to get a Parking Pass or gut it out with the Satellite Parking.

Its a sure thing that for preseason games you can pay 20 bucks at the entrance to park in normal Stadium parking. We had someone in our tailgate do that last week.

    No matter what arrive early!!!!
You may or may not pay at the gate. Remember it is a Jet- Giant game. Expect a big crowd. Good luck. Jetmike Sec 228

That sounds like it might work, being it's a preseasoner. Regular season, fuggheddaboutit.

I was surprised to see them accepting cash at the game last week, I thought it was all parking passes. I guess that's for the regular season, as others have mentioned.

Thank you very much guys... i've been a season ticket holder for about 6 years, and this is one of my first preseason games... my girlfriend is a giants fan (i know, not marriage material) and i promised her a game this season.... so i figure take her to a preseason jets/giants game, and she'll be fine. I have a parking pass for Regular season, but am using friends tickets for the preseason (lower level) and didn't have a parking pass with them.
THanks for the info... i appreciate it.

    T breds!

Also Copied from the Jets Website:
    5) The Satellite Parking Area will not be available for our two preseason games. If you do not have a Pre-Paid Parking Permit for the preseason games, you may pay at the toll plazas at the entrances to the Meadowlands Sports Complex and park in the main lots.

    TV for Saturday??

Does anyone know if the Giants game will be available on DirecTV Live in Wisconsin? I know that it is on NFL Network on Sunday afternoon (tape delayed) but was wondering if anyone has heard anywhere else it might be on live for us Brett (and Jets) fans back in good ole Wisconsin. Thanks!!!
