I'm really going to miss his contribution when he gets cut? Post all your memories of his great runs while a member of the Jets in this thread.

For a guy with such huge 'guns', he hits the turf awfully quick after first contact.

He just doesn't seem to see the field correctly. I don't know whats happened to him, but he needs to step up.

I think he was being facetious. But good lord, where is our running game?

Yeah headed into this season I was expecting a resurgance from Jones but he's looking weak out there so far. A little worried.

Most of those are called plays to the right side, so that would be the coaching staff, not him.

Lets wait until the season starts. TJ had 1,100+ yards last season behind that sorry offensive line we put out there. I have faith in him....

Exactly. I say let the season play out, and then midway or so we can make judgements about what to do with him.

Unfortunately he won't get cut because the morons running this team gave him too much money up front.

Oh yeah don't overpay for the starter the Jets desperately needed in 06 when he was an amazing steal from Chicago.

    Fuck Hindsight.

Amazing steal? What are you drinking tonight? He was never an amazing steal or an amazing back. He has a less than 4.0 career ypc but you are just like the rest of the morons that bought into that. Give up a high second round pick for garbage. Well, that is exactly what you got.

The 2nd round swap for a starting RB wasn't a steal??

Do you remember the vibe through this board and the city? It was a steal to get Jones for nothing.

    We gave up nothing.

It wasn't from me. I thought it was a mistake then and obviously I still do. I still think we should have traded up for McFadden this year. Let's see if I'm right on that one too.

We gave up nothing to get him. I liked the move at the time, but it now looks like giving the guy a 4 year deal was a terrible mistake. Hindsight... I hate you.

I'm considering changing my username to "Leon>TJ"
