The Jets just received a blueprint for there necessary improvements. The good thing is that it happened early in the season & there is plenty of time for the Jets' to get it straightened out. Post Game Observations: Mangini doesn't like losing....thats a good thing. Also, hopefully Mangini learned something from this game. -Schottenheimer doesn't know how to properly attack a defense....This is very clear....Player Personnel issues aside. Myths: -Kerry Rhodes is an All-Pro. -Cotchery is a #1 WR. -Thomas Jones is a feature RB. -Faneca & Woody will transform this OL into ..... -Punter Graham can get the job done........WELL. TRUTHS: -Jets need to spend a high draft pick {2nd - 5th round} on a quality Big OL for the right side of OL.....if not 2 picks. -Jets offense is too predictable. -True problems of Jets are on the offense. All smushed up together between player-personnel & playcalling. -ILB Eric Barton sucks against the pass. -Playmakers make plays. -Pace & Jenkins was money well spent. -Jets' need 2 DE's with better size & athelticism. -Jets will win more games this season than they lose. -#5 Ratliff has some very interesting skills. -5th round draft pick was wasted on a QB, when other pressing needs were more needed. -Brett Favre hates losing. -Jets' need a #1 RB. -Mangini will be a better coach in a few years...Jets just have to endure his growing pains....Will they ? I think they should. -This game #3 & #4 will show the true ability of the Jets' to adapt & progress. -Time for Faneca to earn his money. -Stuckey makes plays. -Jets' pass rush has improved. -Cody Spencer should get more plays on defense. -Elam needs to get more plays on defense. -Better players...Make better coaches....lol.....Funny , but true. -Jets OLB's have a hard time covering pass catchers in the flat. -More speed needed on defense. -Jets very seldom hit a ball carrier very hard....Whats up wit dat !!! When I see stuff like "Jets don't hit the runner hard enough" I realize this is pointless. Since when is how hard you hit a player matter? Good technique, wrap up, bring the runner down. Besides, you must have missed that tackle by Rhodes in the backfield....

Rhodes actually made 2 or 3 tackles in the backfield. Not to mention calling the defense with a headset as a safety. Some people don't understand what a gamebreaker is when they see it.

Kerry Rhodes is a decent player that if he really tries harder, can become a better player. Maybe with better coaching, he can make more plays. But thats my opinion. -OK....Tell me what so great about Kerry Rhodes ?
