Which team will challenge us the most or is most likely to beat us before our matchup with the Bills on November 2nd (week 9)

Somehow the Oakland game can be the trap game. Its that Jets culture that makes me think that way.

i don't know which game but i have a feeling we will be 4-3 after our next 3 games. We always lose to teams we should beat, as do most teams in the NFL.

true, but I don't know if this QB is going to let that happen... I hope he is changing the culture in that locker room and in the organization. A guy like that can make this difference.

I went with the Bengals because they have the potential to play very well even if they don't do it very often. The Raiders don't worry me, I'm sure they'll shoot themselves in the foot even if they're playing well. The Chiefs, well, and I'm trying to be a good team mate here, let's just say we had some protection problems.

It's gotta be the Oakland game. Away game in a hostile stadium on the West Coast, although if Palmer is starting the Bengals might not be a gimme either.

Yeh the great thing about the league is that teams can slip up and lose when everyone is picking them to win comfortably. I was shocked by what happened at Foxboro last week as many were obviously. I'd say the Raiders as it's away and they seem to be improving quickly...despite the record. Although I'm not sure I feel totally confident about the Bengals seeing as there is a very, very good chance they could be 0-5 and desperately looking for their first win by the time we play them. Does that logic make any sense?

Yeah good point. i think all the years of being a Jets fan prevented me from thinking that. i really do think we could have something very special going for us. We need to be more consistent though....one game our defense looks good, then the next game our offense looks good and the defense plays poorly. Of course i expected this with all the new players and know we are still gelling. A bye followed by 3 "easier" teams should do wonders for us if we can come away at 5-2.

True, besides that they are flying across country and the other 2 are home games against soft teams.

Edit: That being said I voted to keep Favre, Jenkins, Revis, Rhodes, Brick, Harris off the boat with hookers and midgets but that is just me.

Nobody's picked the chiefs...they must've done something right today to beat Denver. Although with Denver's defense and considering their close calls against San Diego and the Saints they could very well have been 1-3 at the moment

I'm going with the Raiders. They have talent but do not play up to it. If they put a good game together they can be a dangerous team. I just don't see it happening with the dysfunctional enviroment there.

    DUDES!!!

    You should all know better.

The "next game on the schedule" is always the toughest game on the schedule.

The Jets have more talent than all three teams...Just looking @ the Rosters, from top to bottom...It's clear to see that the Jets are the better team when compared to teams such as the Bengals, Raiders and Chiefs. If the Jets play to their potential, I cant see any of those teams walking away with a W.

With all that said...I think the Jets toughest opponent will be....The Jets. The only way we lose any of these next three games...Is if we blow the game.

the radiers with run dmc and the chiefs with lj are primarily good run teams, which plays right into our strength on defense. and the bungles are beyond a mess that don't deserve consideration.

    jets 3-0 ez

Denver is the worst 3-1 team in the league. They should be 1-3.

The Jets have two weeks to prepare for the Bengals. Who knows if Kiffin will still be Oakland's coach in three weeks?

I'll say KC. Herm is a good coach and he knows a lot of the players on the Jets. It'll be a grudge match. They won't beat the Jets but they'll give us a game.

cincy will be kinda of tough. they will be 0-5 coming in to play us. even a team with as many misfits and guys who basically dont care about the team, will want to win at some point. they will be desperate. hopefully we can hold them down.
