Potential Playoff Bye

    This week is much more important than just getting us inside positioning towards an AFC East Title. As the Steelers are collapsing, the winner of Thursday game will not only increasing their chances of an AFC, but will also likely become the frontrunner for the second playoff bye behind the Titans.

    I'm probably getting ahead of myself, but a bye week in the playoffs would be huge for us especially with Mangini's record after a bye week.

    This game could well be the difference between a playoff bye and not making the playoffs. This is as close as it gets to an elimination playoff game. The implications of this one is huge.

    Its too early for the team to talk about this. Not us fans though. The Jets won't lose because we were looking ahead.
