...the idiotic reasoning we keep hearing about how we would be just as good if Pennington was still here. He's playing great in Miami no doubt...but we are at least two games better than we would have been, and there is no way we win last night, with ole Noodle arm behind center.
I agree that we don't win with him last night but let's not forget he destroyed the Pats in Foxboro earlier this year.
Pennington is an above-average quarterback who is having one of his best seasons this year. That being said, there really should not be any doubt that Favre is the better quarterback.
Always with Noodle Arm did this, did that ... In no way does he lead us down the field, with 2 14 play 7 1/2 minutes drives for scores ... He was a very serviceable quarterback while he was here, but he doesn't have the "magic" to make plays that Brett does ...
Up until the last 2 weeks of play there was room for debate, but I do think we have turned the corner on that theory and Favre is really starting to show why he is a HOF QB.
No more Chad talk please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's on our most hated rival, let's just savor that classic Brett performance....:beer::jets:
