I just realized you didn't see the 04 team and don't even know what happened with Henderson with the Jets.
he implied earlier in the thread that the 2004 defense had more talent then the current defense. that is his reasoning.
I started watching the Jets in 69 and seen EVERY season since. I've never had any other team. Unlike you I'm a true Jets fan.
I do think it is too early to talk about a DC change but if it does come to that I would take Crennel in a heartbeat, certainly over Rob Ryan.
I think like Vaccaro said it's the maturity of the average Jet fan that was born in the 90s that is in question!
Champ is a female jack! She just doesn't let everyone know that, she lets you guys assume she's a man.
They don't have the images of Super Bowl 3 to help them through the bad times. That is why my perspective is more positive than the average fan.
Get the facts straight. I became a fan half way through the 68 season. First time I was introduced to the NFL. It was a great year and I thought we'd win many more SBs. Obviously I'm not the problem otherwise we wouldn't have won to begin with. I know you're still trying to be a jerk. Go ahead it doesn't bother me!
The 68 Jets weren't in the NFL, nice try. The 69 Jets lost to the Chiefs in the AFL playoffs at Shea.
Why are you being so ridiculous. The 68-69 jets won the Super Bowl. I started watching them during 1968 and they won the SB on the 12th of January 1969. I'll never forget that day especially since Namath was also number 12. The Jets lost in 1969 to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. They should have won that game but failed to punch it in from the one and Namath threw his helmet on the ground in frustration.
I've never seen someone try so much to convince others what year he became a fan. We ain't buying the charade, kiddo.
