Early line Jets @ Titans

    That's a very fair line. I would definately take the Jets and the points.

    The Jets match up very well against the Titans ie. they're very much so a run-first team and as bad as we are against the pass at least we can stop the run. I think we'd be better off against the Titans than say the Cards or Broncos or any other pass-heavy team.

    personally, i think this is our statement game. 24-7 or something like that will send a message to everyone. we have a big advantage on special teams. we can stop their run and we have the secondary to play man. the only thing that they have on offense will be throws to the TE on play-action.

    This is the Jets. The only statement game that analysts and bettors and anyone else in the NFL will respect us for has a Roman numeral attached to it.

    Yeah, you'll always hear sports guys making their picks with the spread...you hear things like "I'll take the points" meaning they are picking the underdog, or "I'll give the points", they pick the favorite.

    There's not really any reason to know them unless you gamble.
