The Lions a re a joke. have been for years. Time to set tradition aside and make some progress. Would you like to see the NFL rotate Turkey day games?

I think the SB winner should get the game. The Cowboys are a well run team, and their down times are short.

    My suggestion:

    Cowboys game
    SB winner hosts
    Rotating NFL Network game

I'm going to say no only because of tradition. But they have been so bad over this past decade that the games usually have no meaning. No when Barry played there it was great to see them.

I like the tradition plus I would never want to have a Thanksgiving home game.

WTF? I never said the Jets should get the game. I asked if it should be rotated via SB winner. And as Jets fans, we should not be worrying about playing on Thanksgiving if winning the SB is a prerequisite.lol

Football is still football, so i'm gonna vote "no". I love watching any game, plus it just feels like Thanksgiving when those 2 teams are on.
It's like "March Of The Wooden Soldiers", at Christmas!

I'm not sure if they should, but I'm pretty sure that they will.

    Heck no!!!

I'm really looking forward to this game! Take a look at the schedule, folks. Detroit is going 0-16, without a doubt. I for one haven't watched a single Detroit game this year and want to see just how bad this team is. I mean, this is NFL history, here. Not to mention they're taking on the Titans, the really fucking pissed off Titans? Would you turn away from a car accident like that?

    What's good for the goose......

If you're gonna rotate then your gonna rotate for both. Not just one because you/we dislike seeing the Lions. Shit, I HATE the Cowboys and that whole "America's Team" bullshit.

I can see SB winner hosts...or even both SB teams get a game.

Dallas can host their 4:00 game, but Detroit's 12:30 game should be hosted by someone else. Maybe Chicago or Green Bay or some other team in the north where there's some potential for good winter weather.

I'm tired of sitting down to watch the Lions at 12:30 and losing my interest by the end of the first quarter (And this year the game didn't even hold my interest for that long). Every year I think that even though the Lions are bad, maybe they'll step up since it's Thanksgiving and the spot light is on. And every year they get embarrased. IMO, they've lost their privlage.

If detroit starts winning or is at least respectable they won't have to go away.... Millen is gone, I can see them getting better.

I voted yes, because both of yesterday's network games were un-watchable. I like tradition and all, but yesterday was simply unacceptable football.

Agreed. The Lions are not watchable unless your team is playing against them.

Why does Dallas keep theirs? Screw them, rotate both for playoff chase games.

Everyone says it is about tradition. If that is the case I say you keep Detroit and Dallas and dump the NFL network game. They are just trying to cash in on the Holiday hype.

Until the Ford family acts like they care about the Lions or sells the team to someone that does the NFL should not continue to reward them with this game. The entire country is watching this game, the NFL should make there best effort to put a quality product on the field. It's not like anyone outside of Detroit is really itching to see the Lions play on bird day just because it's the tradition.
