The latest weather report for Sunday afternoon is predicting a 40-60% chance of rain and 46 degrees. The rain continues into the evening and the temps will drop. I'm hoping that favors us against the Broncos. The strongest part of their game is their passing attack, so if Revis and Law and the rest of our secondary can neutralize that, that puts us in position to pound the ball on the ground and keep their offense off the field, like we did in Tenn. My biggest fear with this game is a high-scoring shootout, having to match TD for TD repeatedly. Without clear dry weather, Cutler may struggle. Any thoughts?
Some Rain is definitely possible. If we are on our game I do not have any worries about this game. This is not '98 and we are not facing as good a team as we did in Denver. We have much better personnel, man for man, this go around. A superior game plan, time of possession, and very good execution should win out. Jets all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unless it's a complete downpour with strong winds, I just don't think the rain is going to effect the passing game. The slick field may hurt Eddie Royal though if he plays with his injured toe.
I like our ground game. Jones is having a great year and as long as we can pound it out for short to mid range gains I think we can go as far as we want. The weather will not bother Denver too much but the key to this game and our potential play off place lies on the ground. Go Thomas. Go Jets!!!
With our powerhouse running game and short passing game against their horrible running game and great deep passing game...uh yeah, I'd say rain favors us.
I swear I've seen that somewhere..... hmmmmm.... certain QB in a blue uniform......... hmmmmmm....... but that QB was crying, and his coach is a douche--- wow we could see it happen again in that case.
Join the crowd, pal. We welcome the rain. Makes it more fun. Oh wait... that's what they charge me the extra dollars for when I sit under cover in the Mezz. I knew I was paying extra for something. Oh well, bring it on. I'll be high and dry. High and dry, that is, until I have to give up my Mezz seats and move upstairs in 2010.
Now they're predicting an 80% chance of showers with a temperature of 41 degrees. Bring it on, baby: http://www.wunderground.com/US/NJ/Secaucus.html
