I thought the jets could use a loss before the playoffs..i dont like teams going into the playoffs on long winning streaks..the loss gets them back to reality and next week is a new week

Like the Broncos, the Steelers are also very inconsistent. One week they're great, the next they just stink it up. Broncos played well today and the Steelers played even better. I could see either of them suck the next and not be surprised.

I would be concerned if NE had won, but we got a 'get out of jail free card' today. If we win out, we're in good position to get #2 seed and given our schedule that's very possible. Not to make excuses, but the Broncos are really better than their record indicates. They're one of those team that is really good or really bad, and today was a really good day for them. Look at the teams they've beat this year. They beat the 9-3 Bucs and the 8-4 Falcons.

I'm hoping this will be a wake-up call for our team and they won't let this happen again. Anything can happen once your in the playoffs, seeded or not. Case and point, 2007 Giants. If we can get strong again in December then we'll be fine.

No panic, just a miserable game to watch. Hillis and Cutler had good days. F' Shannahan, his Donkeys, and his fake injuries.

We are what we are. This doesn't make us bad, but it shows that we're not the best in the AFC.We'll probably make the playoffs then lose to PIT or Indy.

It's the same old Jets. We're good, but a superbowl appearance is a long way off.

The "Same ol' Jets" meme is tired and needs to stop. "SOJ" is losing to NE, or blowing a lead. We just lost. I don't hear any other team's fans saying "same ol' _____" when they lose.

I'm not panicking but we should be worried. NE and Miami has a soft schedule the rest of the way, I can see them winning the rest of the way.
The Steelers has a tough bunch of games left but they just beat the Pats.

I'm also worried about the two west coast trips. If we don't win out we can be in a serious tie with the Pats and Miami. And I also think Indy will win the rest off their games. So it leaves two spots for three teams, AFC East and the final AFC Wildcard spot. We also can't rule out the Ravens. It can be 4 teams going for those final spots.

    1. Titans
    2. Pitt or Jets
3 and 4. Pitt or Jets or Pats or Denver or Miami
    5. Indy
    6. Jets or Pats or Denver or Miami or Ravens

I'm not saying we're done man, but we're no longer the best team in the AFC.

We need to win out for a chance at the bye. I really hope this wakes up the coaching staff. We had a tough time with the weather, clearly. The Jets will probably finish at 11-5.

I hope we face Baltimore in the 1st round.

I am glad they lost. I hope it makes them remember Oakland. I hope it makes them remember that they just can't "show up" to the field, they have to make plays! I did not see the need for "razzle dazzle" in the conditions they played in. I did not see 2nd half adjustments.

I hope this leaves a real bad taste.

sorry folks but i will spare the panic post here......

let me just say that some of the little things i saw from the buffalo game onward were not apparent today.....

and it showed in the final score.

the jets earned a grace period from me ripping them a new one after the performance today by their wins at NE and TEN but you can be bet yur asses that this has to be he last loss of the regular season.

they will NOT be taken seriously in january if there is another L or 2 after today.

the jets did not match up well with the broncos offense - specifically cutler.

the colts are a similar animal so, IMO, if the jets have to play either the broncos or colts its not gonna be pretty.....

on the other hand i like our chances against ten and pitt.

    who knows about the ravens.

    I'm panicing.

The Jets proved they were a power house the last 2 weeks, then they lay an egg at home against a shitty team. Elite teams don't do that. We only have a 1 game lead in the division with 4 games to go, if they play like that again we can kiss that goodbye. Our chances of a first round bye may be lost forever.

They have to win out, badly.
