yup, Plax is doing what Shockey did last year for them. Sucking ass, dropping balls, and not playing anywhere close to his potential. Plax has been fined several times this year alone for being late or skipping team pratices and meetings. He is a problem for the Giants team and would be one on ours. Do you think Mike T and Mangini what this type of person in our organization? This is not Madden. These type of actions actually matter in the NFL. Not only that, but we have no Cap space ATM. Around 1.5 mill at last count. Exactly how would you fit his big salary on our roster?
How many games has Burress even been a factor in this year? Almost NONE. Getting rid of this headcase is the smartest thing they have done all year in my opinion. Anyone else dumb enough to put him on their team deserves all the headaches and frustrations associated with him.
Plaxico Burress ranks 70th in WR receptions this season. Part of it double teams, part of it because he does not give a shit. He'll be in Jokeland soon enough
i'd still take him on the Jets in a heartbeat. We haven't had a receiver like him in, well a very long time
Now, if Burress winds up in jail, the next pass he catches might be from Michael Vick after a play-action fake to O.J. Simpson.
