as bad as the Jets have looked the past 2 weeks the Bills have looked that bad for the past 2 months with the exception of the KC game. they'll pull out a "big win" and "get their season back on track" next week only to lay an egg and give up 350 yards passing to seneca wallace in seattle.
Like I said in another thread - the Bills are playing about as bad as any team in the league. Lose this game and you might as well forfeit the rest of the season.
The Seahawks were 2-10 entering today's game. Mike Holmgren is leaving after the season. This team is looking to win at least one more notable game for him. They tried to do it today. Next week they play the Rams. Nobody cares. In Week 17 they play at Arizona. Nobody cares (unless Arizona's playoff seeding comes into play, but still most won't care). That leaves one more game for the Seahawks to win and play a spoiler role- vs the Jets in Week 16. The Seahawks will come to play on December 21 at Qwest Field. You can take that to the bank.
Jets will need to play alot better D than they did today to beat Seattle. The Pats were were very fortunate walk away with a win. Ironically, the Jets and Pats both need to outscore their opponents now because their respective D's can't stop anyone. Of course the Pats are devestated by injury... the Jets should be doing better.
I see the Jets losing this game as well. I actually got them going 1-2 if not 0-3 to finish this season in true Jet form. Why? This team pretends to be a well oiled machine. Unfortunately, when the system is broken, the machine doesn't run very well and that's exactly what you're looking at here. We fixed the DLine, but the secondary sucks. We fixed the OLine, but our WR's are slower than Mo lewis and the only fast one we have can't get on the field because of all the slow ones in front of him. This team has no fire, no heart, no emotion. They're all pretty much drones and that's a direct reflection of its non-emotional Belichek clone of a HC. They go thru the motions but that's about it. Yeah, 0-3 sounds about right unless things change drastically.
Honestly nobody can predict what will happen to us or any team in the NFL for that matter. BTW, staying on subject I like to think of that game today as the Pats looking terrible, not the Seahawks looking bad
