    Hey everyone,

I'm gonna be in NYC on December 28th, so I'm absolutely going to the Jets/Fins game. I live in LA and have seen the Jets at Chargers twice (both wins 02 and 04), Jets at LA Raiders in 94 (loss - nick bell scores TD with 7 seconds left), and Jets at Denver in 96 (Neil O'Donnel and Keyshawns first game...total disaster), but never been to the meadowlands...

I know you guys will say, "don't go, the Jets will be 8-7 by that point," but I don't care...i believe, and I want to be on-hand for what could be a classic...or a debacle...either way I have to be there.

I'm wondering - where should I avoid sitting? I've seen some deals for tix in the lower level under the awning for around $125 each...section 115 i think...near the end zone. Are those good? Should I avoid the 300 sections all together? Any secret spots to sit that are amazing and not everyone knows about?

Thanks guys...i love you, I love the Jets, and i'm doing my best to not to compare 2 game losing steak to other monumental jets collapses..

Get a ticket near the 50 yard line. Up top or on the floor, best seats in a football stadium, imo.

Endzone seats effectively make you watch half the game on the Jumbotron.. And if you're under the awning on the lower level, chances are you won't have a decent view of the Jumbotron, just a small TV under the awning.

If you're gonna be down there, you've gotta be along the sidelines. If you're higher up, the view from the EZ isn't bad....

Ditto to what Beamen said... lower endzone is pretty bad. My vote is for the first few rows of mezzanine. Anywhere between the two endzones.

If the Jets are 8-7 at the point, really don't go. Haha. They won't be though.

My cousins have seats in lower 115, a 8 (?) rows up from the field. Good when the game is in that section, not so much on the other end.

Like others have said up top between the 30's is a good bet if you can get them.

If you're a hot chick, then the best seat is right on my lap. It's warm, comfy, and if you play your cards right, I might even jack the "seat" up so you get a better view.

Find a place where they heat the concrete so your feet will be warm

Lower level is the best seat in the house any section. My opinion.

Just sit where you want...20,000 will be empty.

The uppers are pretty good all around. If you are behind the endzone, the game looks like Madden.

Downstairs from the endzone, it's hard to see across the field. It's great when the action is on your end.

Under the mezz is also good if it's gonne rain.

The uppers seem to have the rowdier fans.

I like the Mezz the best. My seats are upper deck, and I love the perspective you get of the field (see plays develop, coverages, formations, etc). On the other hand, being in the lower tier you can see players up close and better notice swim moves, more subtle moves and fakes, etc. I think the Mezz is the ideal combination of some of both.

Regarding seat placement, there are many theories. Conventional wisdom says the 50 is the best place to be. I remember Madden saying way back he'd rather be within some red zone since the best football is played between the 20 and the end zone. So, he thought it was OK to "give up" (watch on Jumbotron or with bad view) on the other side of the field since the football you'd see up close was so awesome.

Interesting theory. I think you'll be happy anywhere in the stadium except the absolute top rows (they're really fookin' high), but if I could choose, I'd take a mezz seat.

Good luck and enjoy! The game may be for the AFC East title and a playoff spot!
