I've heard, from other sources, that we are close to signing Jags OT Mike Pearson.

Not sure how true it is, and I don't have a link yet, but this would be good imo - then we wouldn't have to spend the #4 pick on an OT. It would free us up to draft one of the big 3, Leinart, Young, or even a trade up for Bush.

I think we need to find us a RT instead of a LT...but the Pearson signing wouldnt be terrible either

well, this way the only thing we have to worry about for sure in the first three rounds on the Oline is RT, the rest is at a comfortable level for this year, so I'm sure there will be other Oline picks in later rounds, guys that slip, maybe need a little time to be ready...allows us to take either a RB or stud defensive guys in the first two rounds.

I hope it would be for depth.

Fourth on the depth chart. Just because he was rated high coming out of school doesn't mean much now.
He is barely average at best when he's not hurt.
    Injury prone type.

    ???

Does anyone have a link on this, because I've found nothing.

Looks like just another unsubstantiated rumor...

Great in theory. I was off-line for a bit and when I came back what was the first thread listed? 'It's a lock. If not Williams than Brick.' I know it's off season and there is very little to talk about but man we are beating some really dead horses with these posts. However, when you post something like that it is inevitable you will be quoted and the comment will resemlbe-"Duh, it's the off-season. What would you rather talk about?" Actually, I expect it again because I just said it again.
