the anger comes from the continuous bullshit that comes with the bad playcalling and the missed tackles.
I totally agree with this thread. Let's give them some type of a break this week. After all the defense did win us the game.
You gotta be kidding me. Giving up 27 points AT HOME to a team that has scored a total of SIX points in the last TWO weeks. And its the "defense that won us that game". I repeat SIX points in the last TWO weeks. It was an average effort by the offense and a HORRIBLE day by the defense - they have JP Losman as their QB. People don't understand football at all.
I didn't say they played well. They sucked today, as usual. The defense is awful. HOWEVER, all I said is that they might deserve a break because the defense won us the game at the end, not the offense. When we needed the offense in the fourth quarter, it was nowhere to be found.
I will do you one better. It was an above average effort by the offense....in the first half. You have to play four quarters. We were shut out in the second half by buffalo - at home! Minus a gift FG from the D. When the game was on the line the offense was terrible. The defense won us the game.
Granted the D didn't play well the Bills were playing with a short field all game. They had scoring drives of 52 (FG), 50 (TD), 24(TD), 15 (FG). Their longest drive was 62 yards. Give any team short fields all game and they'll put up points. Of course, none of this takes away from the fact that Marshawn Lynch was breaking tackles all day
Good point. At least we didn't gashed by the pass today. I know it's Losman, but the Niner offense isn't much better and they sliced and diced us last week.
I do not believe jets can make superbowl game when defense is still being very bad on other quarterback throws. they have to stop and make more sacks! but I think they will participate in playoffs.
What happened to that awesome front 7 from a month ago? They will improve as long as Sutton calls some blitzes!
^exactly, our linebackers aren't great in coverage and that is def. one of their weaknesses. but instead of being the aggressors and going after the QB we're giving them ample time in the pocket and making the linebackers chase the TE's and backs all over the field wearing them throughout the course of the game. The defensive scheme at the beginning of the year was awesome when we were piling up sacks like anything, I believe we were tops in the league for a while. Then after Harris' injury, our outside 'backers have been dropping into coverage at least 2 out of 3 plays
our RUN D has completely vaporized with the apparent injury of kris jenkins, not to mention we can't stop the pass
