Both 9 wins. Favre leads Pennington head to head 1-0, I give the edge to Favre.

I don't know the more I see favre throw long the more I tend to think that the 2008 Pennington may have a leg up on the 2008 favre,

Who ever is better will be determined at the end of the season on whoever makes the playoffs...that's how I will look at it...stats are stats, but wins are wins

Pennington is not as good as Miami is making him look.

I give the credit to Parcells and knowing how to get the most out of any player.

Look at what he did with Vinny.

As usual, Favre made several throws today Pennington simply cannot make.

Going down the homestretch, I'll take a Qb who can squeeze the ball into tight spots, and throw the sideline routes over a touch passer any day of the week

It's much better to post in existing threads than to start unnecessary new ones.

We gathered shitloads of talent and FAs in the offseason. Miami really only got Chad and Porter. They were 1-15 last year and you're saying they making their QB look great?

Get a clue, its the other way around. Their QB position was their biggest trouble, and had been for last few years. Got Chad and they are playing at playoff level. Chad is making Miami look great (atleast good).

And he can throw an accurate deep ball.

Favre played well today. I have been critical of his deep balls, but he was very good today. Apart from that first week bomb, I really haven't liked any deep balls from him, until he threw a few mediocre length passes.

Pennington made some nice throws today...long, straight, and on target. Looks like that guy was right who said the 2nd year removed from surgery was really going to make a difference for Chad.

Hmmm...now who was that? Oh yeah, it was me.

Both QBs now have strong arms, Brett's is consistently stronger, Chad's consistently more accurate and on time.

Let's hope that stronger is more important than the latter in two weeks.

I agree. I am so F'N tired of the Chad Pennington talk on this message board that I could slam someone through a flaming barbed wire table!

Could someone remind me of the time that Chad Pennington led the Jets to the Super Bowl? Or maybe you could remind me of the time that Chad elevated his team's play the way Favre has done this year?

Chad was a very good QB for the Jets, but he is no Bret Favre.

Week in and week out Chad seems to outplay Brett.

But that is mostly because of our:

    Recievers
    Defensive backs
    Pass rush
    Tackling
    Offensive Coordinator
    Defensive Coordinator
    Head Coach
    Offensive Line,
    and mercury being in retrograde

There you go with your dumb comments...yet again...Bosko...!

How many QBs do u remember that took the Jets to the Super Bowl in the last 4 decades???

    FOUR DECADES???

This B*STARD Chad took us to more playoff games in the Jets history than any other QB.

Remind you of when Chad elevated his game the way Brett has??? How about this...Brett is going downhill and we all know it. He played well today, but its not going to last very long. Chad is playing awesome and has been throwing the deep ball much much more accurately than the gunslinger, even though he doesn't have a rocket arm. His 9-5 team was 1-15 last yr incase you forgot. Bretts 9-5 team was 4-12. Who elevated their or their teams play more??? We brought in about 6 or 7 probowlers in the off season...how many did Miami bring in???

Chad is the classiest player I have known in the NFL. Not that Brett isn't, but we all know how things got when Favre was being traded. And we all know how Chad reacted (or not reacted) to his trade.

Favre is a great player and an excellent leader. Chad is the classiest guy!
