The Jets would do well to get started on 2009 early by giving Ratliff the start. It would also diminish some of the embarrassment of Chad beating Favre's ass head to head.

And if by some miracle the Jets are alive, Ratliff gives them a better chance to win. So there's 3 reasons.

I agree but there's no way this happens.

We're just pathetic, no matter who starts.

That would be great to have Brett Favre sit on the bench in his last NFL game

It won't happen. It should but it won't. You know the Pats would file tampering charges, or what ever it is called. They would accuse us of throwing the game.

Will the Pats play before us? If so, and they win then they should definitely not start Favre because we will already be out of playoff contention. And he blows.

I was wishing for Ratliff at halftime of today's game. The Jets needed a spark, if only for a series. But I know, you can't bench the HOF'er.

That depends if they move the Jet game to 8pm. Pats are playing at 1.

Firing Schottenheimer would probably do more for the Jets offense then a QB change at this point but that's not something that's going to happen either.

There is no way this would happen. But yeah I would like to see either Clemens or Ratliff starting at QB. Whichever one the Jets feel they want to give a shot at being the QB of this team next year.

On the radio they were speculating that the SD-Denver game would be moved to 8.

The Jets should play at 1, but they'll probably torture the fans and play at 4.

3: he won't heave pop ups to the other team when the Jets trail in the 3rd quarter.

    Three Reasons to Start Ratliff
    1. Spite the old gunslinging fuckhead who actually deserves to be benched (21 TD 19 INT) those are fucking Jon Kitna numbers..come to think of it I would rather have Kitna than Favre.
    2. Ratliff would make way less mistakes than the old man and he might give us a spark.
    3. If the Pats win, we will have nothing to lose and just one thing to gain...keep those fuckers out of the playoffs

We may as well play Brad Smith at QB

Not a bad thought, but arrogant managini will be playing for the win even thought it wont matter and will try to put spin on this season.. hard to fire a guiy with 10 wins, but the jets should.. he sucks... A decent coach has 12 wins with this team....
