complete and total lack of adjustments in game. whether during a half or at the half. if they make a great plan they end up doing well until the other team figures it out and then its up in the air because the jets will not change from their agenda coming into a game. that and his obnoxious things he does like say lower leg injury, head injury... just annoying shit like that. that stuff really does annoy me as he isnt doing anything but making himself out to be a jerkoff. which it turns out he is.
I heard a funny caller on WFAN going off on Mangini's press conferences saying "I'm tired about hearing about the 'three phases of the game', it's time for the fourth phase... phasing out Mangini"
The same thing that irritates me about the team...we're not winning or even playing well right now. Anything more or less is pure imagination, and I feel the need to remind you guys that it's all in your head. Losing is not a character flaw people. It's not a sign of no intelligence.
Care to be a little bit more specific for once? Why aren't we winning and playing well? And as you answer that, ask yourself "why?" to whatever your answer will be (because that will also be really vague too). Spe-ci-fy.
You are all imagining this, it is not reality, the Jets' failure is just a reflection of your own psyche. If you loved yourself more, the Jets would have the #1 seed by now. Losers.
Personally, I don't give it a flying fuck if Mangini shows emotion or not. My frustration from him are all game-related, nothing else.
See, I would, but when I ask others to do this I get the same vague stuff back. My biggest SPECIFIC complaint is that we leave the middle of the field way too open on D. And it's not even a short pass, it's the intermediate routes that get the first down easily. Even then, I'm not going to be ignorant enough to put this all on coaching.
The man has NO emotion/passion for the game. He presents the same impassive front regardless if he won the lottery or his best friend died. Prime example is Baker's 2006 game-tying TD catch against the Browns on the game's last play. The jets CLEARLY got screwed by the refs but Mangini wouldn't go there after the game or the whole next week--I can think of several head coaches who would not have minded giving comment on how that game ended if it had been their team!
