This season is really the distilled essence of what the Jets are all about. The over the hill QB who shows some flashes of his old ability, the average defensive players, an offense with exciting players that rarely puts it all together, and above all else, a joke coach.

One other thing died today...my pride. And the thousands of dollars I spend each and every year on season tickets...25 years and counting. I don't just sit in front of the TV every week. I'm out there in all kinds of weather pulling for my team. I think since I have put my time and money where my mouth is that I have every right to be angry at this organization.
And that's relevant because? I'm sorry that somehow, my post-game rant after concluding yet another disappointing season, managed to offend you. Sure, i'll meet you down the drain and stay for a bit, tell your mom I expect dinner at 5, after her pummeling. Everyone else, thanks.
27 year fan here ... I was lured in as an 11yr old by the sack exchange only to be tortured by this franchise ... the only way I want to see a new coaching staff in here is if they hire Bill Cowher ... I would like to see a team with a defensive identity, not another Bruce Coslet or Joe Walton hiring
Which is what makes them great. What would really suck is to be a fan of some pedestrian, garden variety awful team, like the lions or the Bengals. The Jets at least crush your spirit in style.
