    This would be awful..... Marty is great week 1-17 but once the playoffs start he makes Herm Edwards look like Bill Parcells.

    Marty Schottenheimer would not screw this thing up. He coaches with passion and intensity. This is exactly the kind of coach that we need. However, if they hire his son Brian we are certainly doomed!

    Brian Schottenheimer would be to head coaching what George W Bush is to the presidency. Just because Marty was a head coach doesn't mean his son is prepared to be one. Especially when Marty is mr conservative.

    Hasn't worked out well is an understatement. His son Mike is simply not a good offensive coordinator. There were rumors that Al might leave if Mike is fired but Mike resigned, much to the relief of the fans.

    This father-son tandem thing could result in politics and Marty could insist him and his son come as a package, etc. Not to mention we need experience.
