I think Ronnie is better than cadillac but Chambers has to prove he's not a 1 year wonder before I put him in the top 10.
YAWN........zzz.....zzz.....zzz..... You put Caddy in the top 10, and then you have the nerve to call the Phinz fans homers??? You're a moron in my opinion.... Good Luck In The Asylum......
You do have somewhat of a point. No need to bash him, but that is biast of him to have Caddy in the top 10.
No need to call the Phinz fans homers either. Especially when he's the one who started the thread, and then put Caddy{Buc} within the top 10. I think that's moronic in it's conception, and even more so to post it out here in public. Need I say more??....This guy is brainless in my opinion....
I think Ronnie is a better all-around back that Carnell...Look what happened to Carnell the beginning of the year when he had the full-workload and got hurt, he couldn't handle the full work-load because he never did in college. Now Saban brought along Ronnie Brown perfect, he had a good back in Ricky to change it up and keep them fresh since Ronnie split time at Auburn, he couldn't handle a full-workload in his rookie year...07' probably 08' I think we can all agree that Brown will be able to carry the ball 25 times again on his own. On Chambers. I don't see how you can mention a flux of QB's with Bruce, yet don't mention that for Chambers...Anyway, I think Chambers is right there, 11, one more good year and he'll be top 10 for sure.
Every teams fans are homers. The Skins fans are the worst. They're plenty of smart Dolphins and just as many idiot Dolphins fans as any other teams fanbase.
Well aren't you a great contributor to the community. I made a perfectly good case for Carnell Williams. If you care to actually care to refute my reasons, or put up a top 10 of your own which you feel is better, please feel free to do so in the "Top 10 RBs" thread. (Where a handful of jet fans, which I'm sure are bias for a buc RB too, also place Carnell in their top 10) Discussing nothing and just calling me a brainless bias buc fan, just becuase, God forbid, I put a buc in the top 10 serves no one any purpose. If it makes you feel better about yourself that you can call people names over the internet that's fine. However, you would contribute a lot more and be much more helpful if you actually discussed and debated the issue, like it's suppose to be done in to football forum. That's what we're here on TGG for, and I welcome you to join us.
The point was that you called the Phinz fans homers. And for nothing other than disagreeing with you. Very petty of you in my opinion.... You started the name calling when you called us homers. I merely stated that I think you're a moron for doing so, especially when all the traits of homerism were submitted within the context of your initial thread, and putting Caddy at #10. Caddy may very well be among the top 10 in 2006, but why call the Phinz fans "homers" for nothing other than not agreeing with you???.... See where I'm coming from???....You call us homers, and yet you look like the biggest one amongst any of us with your Rb rankings. It's basically a case of the pot calling the kettle black.... What's to debate??...I think you're a homer. Case closed...
Mistaken. I called them homers becuase their like you. They merely point, say names, claim homerism or biase, tout Brown and Chambers over and over with out making a case, and walk away thinking their right. I thought it was a football discussion board, much like this one. Apperently its just rally of Fins fans that gather together, not to discuss football, but to find strength and numbers and feel smart when they can in masse say "brown and chambers are top 10". Like you, they merely go, "Homer!" case close, and walk away telling themselves "yea... we're better... yea.. yea... better... yea.... go dolphins... yea...."
Where did I say RB R. Brown was a top 10 RB???...Once again, you're calling me{Phinz fan} a homer for merely disagreeing with you.... I'm not touting either one of them. I'm just disagreeing with you.... Football discussion??....You posted this thread, and it's entitled "Wow, I have never seen a team with more Homers." That's football discussion???... Sounds more like a cheap shot to me. Then to top it off, you post it here{Ganggreen}, because this is where you feel safe. It's like taking a swing at someone, and then running behind mommy for protection. That's what you look like right now in my eyes.... 1. You're a Bucs fan, posting on a Phinz board.... 2. You put Caddy among the NFL's top 10 RB's.... 3. You called us homers for disagreeing.... Are the Jets fans here who disagree with you considered "homers" as well???
There's really no use in continuing to add to the fire here. I think you made a mistake calling out the Phinz fans, so I'm calling you out in return.... I have respect for Caddy, and I think he's going to be a great RB in the near future, that wasn't the debate at hand here. The debate that we're having is my questioning of your reasoning behind calling us "Homers".....
You're right, you are touting Brown or Chambers. But I said their LIKE you, which means you share qualities. You're not carbon copies. The other qualities: point, say names, claim homerism or biase, and walk away thinking their right, that's all you there. And on your last three points: So my crime is being a Buc fan on a Fin board? HANG HIM!!! If that wasn't enough, my 2nd crime is putting Carnell in the top ten (with a total explination). HANG HIM AGAIN!!! And for the last time, I'm not saying homers for disagreeing! Saying it becuase most of them offer absolutely NO explination or reason, they just mention their players names and walk off, THAT is homerism. O, and so what if I come to the Jet site? I don't come here to feel safe or make fun of fin fans. This is the first thread I've ever made of fin fans. I come here to talk football with a great group of fans. A real easy way to end ALL of this is to merely go to either the "Top 10 RBs" or "My Top 10 NFL WRs" thread, and make your point why you disagree. It's obvious that you do, restating that over and over won't help. Let's discuss WHY, put up your top 10 and let me show you WHY I would disagree. Again, I'm offering you to have a footall discussion in the right threads.
My Top 10 RB's.... 1. S. Alexander 2. L. Tomlinson 3. L. Johnson 4. E. James 5. T. Barber 6. C. Portis 7. W. Dunn 8. R. Johnson 9. T. Jones 10. W. McGahee My Top 10 WR's..... 1. T. Owens 2. C. Johnson 3. R. Moss 4. S. Smith 5. T. Holt 6. L. Fitzgerald 7. D. Jackson 8. M. Harrison 9. H. Ward 10. A. Boldin You can disagree. I promise I wont call you a "Homer"....
Yea, we were so homerish at the beggining of the season when we were saying we would make the playoffs and win probally ten games. Sorry NFC EAST DIVISIONAL CHAMPIONS NEW YORK GIANTS fan I didnt want your feelings to get hurt when the wild card team in your division got farther than you but oh well.
Again- wrong thread. But very little chance you'll listen to me so I'll just keep going. Your RB list is very respectable. IMO, Dunn and Rudi should be switched, but it's fine. TJ showed he's a good back and he was the one I was tugging with along with Carnell and Willis. Willis got a leg up becuase of two 1000 yard seasons. However TJ has been in the league 7 years and this is his only year getting 1000+. It was a stand out year, but it was just one. I felt a kid who matured real fast, won ROY honors, set a record, got his shoes in the HOF, and became the new focus of the team had a slight edge. Not to mention TJ will soon have Benson back aswell, who was drafted to be the feature back in that team. As for you WRs... wow. Can you give your reasoning for that becuase I'm with lightning on this one. Marvin at 8? TO #1- Ricky Williams has taken more snaps! And the most questionable- Jackson above Marvin, Hines, and Boldin?! Please explain these. And if you would please do them in the correct thread.
He isn't saying that Phins fans are homers for disagreeing with him, but instead because of their insistence that Ronnie Brown and Chris Chambers belong in the top 10 of each of their respective positions. I think that most NFL fans would not rate either of the above mentioned players as top 10 in their positions, so I'd have to say that Mexican Buc's claim that they are homers is somewhat warranted.
