I agree ... absolutely ... Losman would have trouble at a division II school ... He does nothing good ... His only weapon is the deep sideline throw Woo Hoo, so that is good for a couple 3x a game, what do we do for the rest of the offensive snaps during the game
This is a tough one to get a grip on. Nearly everything I've seen from Losman has been subpar. He did throw a nice deep ball to Evans. It's hard for me to say if this is a good idea or not.
I agree with that point. I just want no part of Loseman. I've seen him come apart and miss far to many easy throws. Leftwich would be a much better chioce.
Think about this then..........we would have thrown away Chad for Losman! No F-ing way do I want this garbage to play for us. Has any of you advocates actually watched him play? hes got some quick feet thats about it.
Exactly! A manage-to-give-it-away QB? No thanks. Why is it that every QB that has consistency issues, health issues, age issues, or can't start anywhere else is a "perfect fit" for us? Talk about a complex.......
I'd pick up Losman if we are looking to go ahead and wrap up the 1st pick in the 2010 draft. I'm thinking putting me at QB would be a better choice than Losman. I think I can complete the 40 yd dash in just under an hour these days. Plus I think I can take a sack just as well. At least I would take a knee, which would be better than throwing interceptions all day long.
While I don't disagree that Losman is sketchy, he also doesn't exactly have the coaches up there. If Shotty is such a great OC, then he should be able to get more production out of anyone. Schonert doesn't carry the clout that Schotty supposedly does. Obviously there's more that goes into a successful passing attack than a QB and a receiver. I honestly think Losman could beat out either of the two possible QBs the Jets currently have. Leftwich isn't exactly the pinnacle of success either, so wanting Leftwich over anyone available is about the most bizarre thing I've ever heard.

Losman is better than any of the 3 current prospects. If he came free and if the Jets aren't able to get a franchise prospect in the draft why wouldn't we look at him? Buffalo is a lousy place to evaluate a QB. Not that the Jets are better but take a long look at Joe Ferguson's career and realize that he was actually a pretty good QB whose stats just looked terrible because he was throwing on a lot of days when the wind was gusting off the lake at 20+ mph.
Is this some kind of sick twisted joke? I'd rather go after Derek Anderson than Losman. At least Anderson proved he did something for 1 year.
