    Coles was one concussion away from being through anyway and don't think for a second every other team in the league isn't thinking that. He just made a huge mistake. He will never see 6 million in '09 again.

    Cotchery is entering his sixth season this year, at the ripe old age of 27.

    So you are saying he will be done at 29?

    I could see Parcells signing him. But to an incentive laden contract, and perhaps for one year. I agree, I think he just gave money away to get back with Chad. Love knows no bounds I guess.

    I know the reports have been that the money was guaranteed, but lets wait to see the details here. The release was amicable so he may have renegotiated a contract that does not have the payment so he can be cut and be an UFA and get one last contract.

    Holy eff I was expecting to see a ban for this forum I am in total shock.

    Ryan is really proving me to he knows what to do to fix this organization. I thought it was times to move on from Coles, but we couldn't because all of his guaranteed money. This is fantastic news IMO.

    Jets don't need Houshmandzadeh, they need a WR teams will actually worry about, a gamebreaker. Trade up and get Macklin! :wink;

    I read about this elsewhere about an hour ago. Since when has Coles done anything that negatively impacts his pocket?

    Read the article. Coles gave up the guaranteed money to get his release. It was an amicable parting.

    What does it matter if he goes to the Dolphins or not? He will probably have zero production there to. I actually want him to go to the Dolphins, so Revis can light him up.

    And the fact Cotchery has only been a full time starter for 3 years (is it 4?), I am going to say he has more than just two years left...

    He is also much more durable than Coles.

    Nicks is a stud and I'm sure he'll do well.

    I'd also like Brian Robiskie in the 2nd. I think that kid is going to have a very good career in the NFL.

    He's only played 3 full seasons.. I think he has a long career ahead of him.
