We should have the chance to address the O-line there rather than the early rounds of the draft.

yea but if they get cut odds are they suck.............I think in the draft we should get a RT and a guard

We need youth on the oline bad...I would rather be ensured the players by getting them in the draft...

You should NEVER rely on june 1st cuts for starters...the thing that happened with Kendall was luck.

With the cap higher this season, and the flurry of cuts that happened prior to the agreement of the new CBA, I wouldn't expect any high quality players shaking loose in June.

Yeah, with crappy, washed up losers. You underestimate the importance of the OL worse that anyone I've ever known.

No. June 1st cuts are usually Salary Cap casualties. Doesn't have anything to do with them "sucking"

Well you never know... Wasn't Pete Kendall a June 1st cap casualty? And he turned out pretty good.

didnt the new cba make it so that a team could cut a few guys early and delay the cap hit to june 1st(instead of having to wait)?......i remember reading something similar to that
but with the high cap/this rule wouldnt that make the cuts minimal anyways

Sorry but you cannot fill holes with the draft..only few OL's that get drafted start right away

I dont think relying on June ! cuts is a good way to fill out your roster when you still need starters.

Kendall was cut in trianing camp(I think July or August)

but teams rarely cut Starters after June 1st. But there are 10 new head coaches this year so there may be players who dont fit new coaches systems. But not alot of teams have salary cap problems and its not like a player a team cuts will be a need for your current roster. Usually its 32 starters are cut after June 1st but only 6 of them fit your needs and there are other teams interested....

I think we need to do both get the young guys in the draft for the future and then when we get to June first sure up the oline with older guys that are solid for this year and work the rookie OL in and next year have the rookies totally take over and were set.

Fool. This draft should focus on the o-line. Why adress the o-line in June when we are a team rebuilding??

whatever but unless we draft D'Brick or Mangold there's no other Ol that's going to start right away...and Mangold probably wouldn't start right away

Winston Justice? Marcus McNeill? Eric Winston? Others could always win the starting job in camp too.

We're not really in position to get those guys unless we make a trade
