You are an assuming ass. First of all, whoever said Matt Leinart would start year #1? If I were in charge his ass would ride the pine all 2006. Secondly, Who says we can't add to our oline with 29? Or even after round one for that matter. These assumptions drive me crazy.
I don't want the Jets drafting Leinart. It's as simple as that. I was just stirring the pot alittle. You think I'm looking forward to seeing Leinart in a Jets uniform??... Regardless, I still think either Ferg or Mario is the way to go for the Jets....
damn right. no one is giving ramsey a chance. i live in MD and i watched and heard about him playing every year he was here. even though he sucked the big one, he was one tough MF. i say give him a chance. if he's horrible we should end up in the same spot next year anyway so why not get quinn next year or croyle in the 2nd round as insurance. we need to improve other positions first before we target the QBs. improve our lines and backfield and LBs if we decide AJ Hawk is better. there are too many holes to fill to give up a 2nd rounder (where we could improve another position) to move up for leinart. and drafting him at #4 would be bad also. think about this...Oakland needs a QB and should be interested in Leinart. if we trade down w/ oakland and get their pick (#7overall) plus a 2nd rounder we'll be golden. b/c we'll either get vernon davis, Dbrick, or AJ hawk with the 7th pick this is our best option
With the moves made by the Dolphins the last 5 years...should be a rule...even an unwritten rule..that the Dolphins and their fans shouldnt be allowed to give another team an opinion....advise...and most importantly...allowed to trash another team. haha im just saying since overall the fans of this site support leinart, moreso then any other qb prospect. i was just busting some balls. see and this is why i like Penny tho, ill be honest I like Young more than Leinart. and no, not cuz i dont understand football or the difference between the pro's and college. its just what i think. as penny would tell you he prefers leinart. but neither one of us is hellbent on obtaining a qb, people need to have a big picture view here, Ferguson isnt the only player who can block, Young/Leinart/Cutler arent the only qb's on earth. the game moves on, and some people disagree with plans, but plans are positive as long as a goal is appearant and an effort to reach it becomes obvious. call me nostalgic or cheesy im just saying im tired of people acting as if we dont get one player the franchise is doomed, let alone how some of you even try to justify ruling out other posibilites you disagree with.
There is no way Leinart gets past the Titans with Norm Chow his old Offensive Coach there. You guy should still get a stud. My guess is D'Brick.With commitments to Ramsey and Penny it only makes sense. Besides star LT only come along about every five years.

I hope we get Leinart. He would be great for us. Leinart or Young would be great for us. Preferably Leinart because of our offense and if we get Cutler I hope we trade down and get him and not take him at 4.
