... I'm not sure exactly how the clock goes, but isn't it possible we pick before this time? If the draft starts at 12:00 PM and the Texans select Reggie Bush at 12:01 PM, the Saints only have 15 minutes and the Titans only have 15 minutes, both of which could also take less than that. EDIT: I also don't know if you have control of exactly what time the poll closes.
I voted D'Brick because I think he has the biggest chance of being a NYJ at about 2:00 PM tomorrow. If it was up to me though, I'd go a different route.
D-Brick is typical NY Jets draft pick.let the fans down once again why be different than anyother year.
"surefire" ok my opinion is NO offensive lineman is worth a #4 pick the draft is deep in offensive linemen. do you remember Tony Mandarich he too was a surefire offensive line pick.
Mangini, T'Baum, I am begging you: PLEASE DO NOT draft D'BRICK FERGUSON Mike Williams, the T from Texas, was supposed to be "can't miss" when the Bills took him in the top 5. the guy isn't even in the league any more...
I chose to close the thread at that time...i beleive its PT cuz im in california and it opened this thread about an hour ago!! either way..i want this poll to be closed by the time we pick..the point is to get in who you think we wil get before the draft starts ...but i cant control this poll to close any earlier
the point is I'd rather strike out swinging for the fences (Vernon Davis, Bush, Mario, Leinart) than trying to hit a bunt single (Ferguson)...
It's Haloti Ngata, not Ngata Haloti. In the end, even though I don't want him that much, I think D'Brickashaw Ferguson will be a Jet.
did i do that???? shows how much i know about him!!! damn name is confusing!! and he doesnt even have a vote yet!!
As I said earlier that PREDICTION is not what I want to happen. Thats why its called a prediction. It wouldn't be any fun if all of our picks were similiar.
Ed. Are you the infamous "Bastard son of .... ? that used to post on the Jets newsgroup? Alot of us wondered where ya went of to. I was, well still am, XqoozeMe on my AOL account. Anyway. You'll like it here. In my opinion it's the best JETS site on the web. I've been here since before 2002. It was revamped (or whatever) so my join date lists as 2002 but I was here and "there" ( the newsgroups for a while longer. Glad to have ya aboard brother.
Depends on the preceding picks. Here are my top four choices, so at least one will be there: 1. Bush 2. M. Williams 3. D'Brick Ferguson 4. Vernon Davis I think we'll end up with D'Brick, which is not a bad scenario. Of course, Bush isn't going to happen unless a miracle occurs, and I think the Saints will take Mario Williams. Titans will take Leinart/Young/Cutler (a QB), leaving us with D'Brick. I like the pick; he's a solid anchor for 10-15 years who will win games without being given the credit for them.
Well, I'm gonna have to say Mario Williams. I would also be happy with Vernon Davis (he's insane, but doesn't really fill a need). If we go QB (I hope we don't) please let it be Jay Cutler. And at all costs, as long as it isn't d'brick, I will be ok with it.
