It's a great pick. There are lots of potentially great running backs that might be on the board at 29. Also, that QB from Oregon might be someone the Jets grab with their second or third round pick. This day is just beginning for Jets faans

Hello people, we had absolutely NO LINE last year, and it got worse this off season. This was necessary!

I don't see what is so bad with this pick. I was with him, Hawk, or Trading down for Cutler. In this division with Taylor and Seymour, this pick works for me.

yea, our QB's got murdered last year, we need an offensive lineman and The Brick was the right choice, albeit not the sexy choice. Leinart has a soft arm and needs to be plugged into a system to succeed....he is not a gamebreaker, he's not Marino or Manning who can zip it in there and win games himself. Leinart is no different than Pennington.

now find a way to get Cutler...but if they don't it won't be a big tragedy. Without an offensive line, it doesn't matter who you have throwing the ball or running the ball.

I am more than happy, we can protect the QB from the left side for the next 10 years, no worries

The same people compaining about our pick are the same ones whining about Brooks on the run last year.

i believe he had elbow surgery at some point (could be wrong), and im fairly certain he had surgery while in HS also (possibly that was the elbow, or maybe shoulder)

solid sensible pick. Fills a tremendous need, and a likeable guy.
    Good luck Brick!
