not many teams can say they got 2 players who were hands-down the best players available at their positions in the draft.

    A+

B+: Our Oline is a strength now but we passed on Matt Leinart and still could have gotten great lineman with 29 and 35

    A-

D'Brickashaw Ferguson is a can't miss LT and Mangold is hands down the best player at a serious position of need. I personally think that we could've had Mangold at #35 and picked a DeMeco Ryans, Chad Jackson or Winston Justice at #29 but that's my only problem with the 1st round.

Good players will help our running and passing game for the next 10 years but we still don't have a playmaker at all, Vilma is a very solid player who will get the job done above and beyond but he isn't a player you can go to when you need a sack or an into. A running back, QB, WR, TE, OLB, DE are the types of players I'm talking about. All in all very good players who I'm not upset about but we need some playmakers bad, real bad

    Overall
    B+ to A-

A for sure. Our QB and RB had absolutely no time to do anything last year, how soon we forget...

2 OL in the first round? Even Bradway could pick good lineman in later rounds.

Then we trade our 2nd rounder? This is a horseshit draft folks.

    A-

Got the best tackle and the best center, addressing two of the weakest positions on the team. A bit one-sided, but they still filled some big needs.

jtrain, all three guys you mentioned have character issues, whether it be legal, attitude, or weight...not to mention we still could get Lendale.

They took the 2 players that I wanted them to take at that draft position.

But I would have liked to see them either make a deal to get Bush, or make a deal to get Deangelo Williams.

They could of had Leinart at 4, Mangold was great at 29 and at 35 take Justice. In typical Jets fashion they fucked that up. So the Jets get a D

and also, A is my grade, our only question on the Oline might still be RT, but I think Adrian may be playing there this year...and if not we did sign Clement, so the next pick is most likely defense.

If somehow Lendale White is still available at 53, and Croyle or Clemens are still available after that, and the Jets get either, it will be the greatest Jets draft of all time.

I gave them a D, we needed playmakers the most and could've had Matt Leinart and Chad Jackson, there's still great tackle depth on the board in Winston, Justice was there, and McNeil.
