As expected there are a 101 useless threads of people complaining about the draft, or praising the draft or generally giving their 2 cents worth instead of sticking to a couple fo main threads (and yes this could be seen as another one of those useless threads!) However, just think, no matter how bad you think our draft was (and I would rank it a B+) just be glad you are not a Bills fan! I went over to their board after the second pick and most posters were along the lines of "I am going to curl up into a foetal position and cry". Tbh I felt sorry for their fans, it must have been plain embaressing.
I have no clue what they were thinking when they took Whitner is at 8 if they wanted a DT. The 2 highest rated DT where still on the board along with a handfull of DBs to get at 26. Ashton Youboty was a good pick up at #70, I would have rather gotten him then "speed demon" Anthony Schlegel.
Would be interesting to hear the reasoning behind the Bills selection....many suspect it was: "Oh fuck, the clock is running out, who do we pick?"
The thing about the Bills, they completely avoided the word value, but they got three real quality players. All three literally have the skills to start for them right away. They were clearly looking for more penetrating type DTs, so McCargo fits well, he's made for that type of system.
