I didnt even see the game,so i didnt see what you are talking about. But it's not a secret that this team could not win with Clemens. he just not that good a QB. Why would the team be upset that he chose the Qb giving them the best chance to win?
What Jet players thought we were going to win a Super Bowl with Kellen Clemens at QB? Seriously, I can't follow the reasoning in the original post. The Jets had a QB on the roster that all the vets thought was taking them to the promised land and then that idiot rookie HC went with the worse rookie QB instead? Seriously?
I just read all of the responses in the thread, and this was the only one that hit the nail on the head. Exactly what I was thinking when I read the original post. Our defense, which anticipates a good deal of success this season, had just surrendered 65 penalty yards and a TD to the Eagles 2nd team O. What the crap were they supposed to look like? That was their only action of the game and it was an absolute disaster. Great, the first team offense made it look easy. That only makes the defensive meltdown look all that much worse. I'm glad as hell those guys weren't celebrating. It tells me that they were pissed off about their one series.
Were these the same guys that were a cheering a now 4th string RB to make the team? Was bringing a white, 5'9 rookie RB from Chadron State part of the conspiracy to sell PSL's and tickets too?
