I almost feel lost without having to decipher lies.

What do you mean Herm would start Chad if he couldn't throw?

I think people are confusing intelligence with social ability. One has nothing to do with the other, they are not mutualy exclusive. I know a couple of genius's who couldn't hold a conversation to save their lives.

I am sure Herm Edwards would still be up there, holding an engrossing press conference in which he went over the reason for every single pick.

Look, we all want a college professor after 5 years of chicken chasing, but this guy is not some slick politician type, and that in itself is almost enough for me; then there's the added bonus of him being a football geek, and having an excellent pedigree.

I think I'll take my chances with this guy.

I think that if Chad was the armless legless knight on the Monty Python & the Holy Grail and still wanted to play, Herm would let him.

Yeah I really liked Michaels. I started to hate Leon Hess when he forced Michaels out and elevated Spanky to head coach.

well am with you as far as his pedigree goes, so am going to give him the benefit of the doubt about the 3rd rd picks. I just had a bradway feeling when does picks were made which is what pissed me off the most about those picks.

Great point! Walt Michaels was great. He was building a championship team, until that asshole Walton and the rest of the FO pulled the rug out from him.

Mangini is doing a very good job so far. We've had enough of a coach who's in love with his own voice, but can't manage a game.

Saturday Night Live, sadly, has become less entertaining than Eric Mangini's press conferences.

Stop it. Would you rather an entertaining speaker or a coach. We failed for 5 yrs with the entertainer.

Why pick apart what he said, "didn't" say? Some coaches weren't even interviewed. Good God almight Parcells hasn't spoken to the little people yet has he?

So he's a little frumpy, so what. That could be his schtick. Better to have our enemies judge him by his cover and make them think he's mildly retarded. Besides, NY is a hot seat, and it may take some time for him to feel comfortable in his skin under the glare of the spotlight. As long as he has killer instict where and when it matters, how he "sounds" doesn't bother me. He could sound like he's making a hostage tape for all I care.
