Yes indeed, everyone the man who will lead this frachise to its next super bowl championship will be Kellen Clemens the Quarterback from Oregon.
Reason i say this is because, Kellen reminds me of Tom Brady alot... Ive had a chance too see him play and even met people who know him. He is a intelligent and very fundamentallly sound QB... From what ive seen he makes passes under pressure and is a huge playmaker.
He made big plays everygame. And most importantly, Kellen is one guy who will never give up.

I think what i am saying could be really ridiculous, but when i heard that he was picked last night when i got back home, i had a smile on my face... i remember telling me friend, watch him get that chance to step on the field, and that first pass he makes will have everyone else smiling.
Hes hardworking and a player with great anticapation on the field.
    Clemens is the MAN

I compare him a bit more to Drew Brees, but I still love the pick...this is a guy the Jets clearly wanted.

I like the pickup. If chad's arm gets blown up (again) we have someone to build under. I think he can be special, given the fact I think our oline will be above average after this year.

And how about Smith? Won't be used as a QB obviously, but can you say Antwaan Randle El (rubs hand together)? I just did a saucy dance. Yep, I like it.

EDIT: B. Smith, that is. Just thought I'd make the distinction.

I watched his Video on yahoo! sports and he looks like a solid pickup,if the season gets away from us early we might see him starting the last few games of the season.... at least i think.

Lets not appoint him savior just yet. I didn't see anything in the clips to make me forget about Duckwing Pennington..

Clemens was the only QB I didn't have many questions about in this draft. With the Jets history, that might not be a good thing.

We all duckwing is gonna under supervised throwing in late may. he aint cominmg back.. and to be honest it would be stupid for him to rush it. cause 1 more shot and it could be all over right there.

Umm...no it's not. At best his arm is average. If he is going to lead us to super bowl glory it's gonna be with his head, not his arm.

Best draft pick in team history? I dunno, drafting has never been the Jets' strongpoint. Franchise players like Martin and Namath weren't drafted. I can tell you one thing though: It sure as hell wasn't Kellen Clemens, the current 3rd string QB.

the best thing about this pick you dont invest the house in him. so the expectations right away arent high.

It doesn't matter what the actual "experts" say, it's what your average internet message board poster says. And since they say Clemens has a weak arm, it MUST be true. :rofl2:

he can make all the throws. it may not be cutler. but his arm isnt lienart or pennington. he has a very quick release and through with great velocity. he can cut throughthe medowland winds. This guy is hard nosed thats what you need out of a qb in the AFC east he has to be tough.

Can we retire this "Duckwing" thing? If it is for the Duck, it's silly. If it's for Pennington, it sucks.

I agree. I bet Pennington never does anything good on a football field again unless it is in coaching. But this fake nickname "Duckwing" is bad.
