I don't give a shit if he spoke to them in the tunnel... It was a probably a no-look, millisecond hand slap with his back turned anyway. The point is, it is a sign of sportsmanship and courtesy to shake the hand of your competition right after a game, especially if they seek you out to shake yours. Every head coach does it... BB is just a big piece of shit, and we all know it.
Haha, you're all right for a Patsfan. It wouldn't make sense if he ever did, so we're agreed there. Still doesn't explain the reports that he told Mangini not to come here based on management, but let's face it, were weren't exactly Oz at the time. It would also make a lot more sense that Mangini has the same feelings towards him that he has toward Parcells, and staying in the division would be the ultimate FU. It is an interesting study on facists and their understudies. Yeah, Cleveland made him look like shit. edit:...and as the guy above me said, he is still a dick for being such a sore loser as to not be able to say nice game in the moment, regardless of later conversations, to a kid showing him respect. edit2: congrats to being a pats fan that had the balls to join the board at a time when y'all are more vulnerable with respect to us than you've been in years. We'll take your kind anytime. Welcome:beer:
OK, show me the quote/article/whatever where Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez care. Then you might look less like a giant whine-bag. Gang Green Injury Report: WAH - questionable - Hurt Feelings
Even if the Jets FO shit on him, and maybe they did, what's that got to do with Sanchez? Why be a dick to a rookie kid just looking to shake the hand and say hello to a legandary coach ? That's petty any way you slice it man. ...and I don't buy the "...in the tunnel we were all nice and chatty.." bullshit either. If you blow them off when millions of people, the NFL commish, the NY press, and 75000 Jets fans are all watching, why the hell would you be inclined to make small talk with them when nobody is looking ?
Bellichek just turns my stomach, damn guy couldn't even say good game to Sanchez? What about Brady? Did Sanchez get to him before he cried his way off the field too? What a bitch ass team.
I said the only thing I've seen from him. You can take self-absorbed and shove it, because that bolded part of your post reeks of it. I don't seek out every presser BB has had and I've never tried to follow him around outside of a football setting like you drooling Pats fanboys love to do. But I've seen plenty of postgame pressers where this shit-head would be asked a question about beating the Jets and he's get that shit-eating smirk on his face. You can try to downplay it, but it's true. But not for long. I don't think that asshole is going to have any reason to smile about the Jets from here on out.
I DVR'd the first episode of the History of the AFL show, and SURPRISINGLY they interviewed Bellicheat and he smiled, pretending to have an ounce of human decency. For those looking for a pic, I think the Daily News had a great shot of it. Looked like Sanchez was opening his mouth to speak and Bellicheat walked away without looking at him. It's like when I try to pick up a hot chick at a ...well...anywhere.
I'm not one to defend Belli, but after rewatching the game last night, and the picture here confirming what I saw, Belli appears to be the one that approached Rex as Rex was being interviewed, and also was the one to lean in around the reporters and extend his hand. It was brief and awkward, but nothing like the unimpeded dissing of Mangini. However, if his beef is in fact with Parcells, what was with the full on embrace after their first head to head matchup?
Sanchez said that Brady spoke to him in the tunnel and told him words to the effect that he had played well and was a smart player.
What happened to the Pats being "the class of the league"? It's never actually been true, and is clearly even less true now. ats_suck:
Here ya go. Slowed it down to really accentuate Belichick's douchebaggery.
The Sanchez handshake really bothered me. Sanchez ran after Beli after Ryan and Belichick 'shook' hands, and still Beli didn't acknowledge him. Not sure what Sanchez would've said to him, but he's a good kid. Whatever he would've said I'm sure would've been as sincere as it gets without the smugness we're used to seeing from Beli and Tom during their post-game press conferences.
Yeah, that had to be a bit of a letdown for Sanchez. He's a rookie, just snapped a 9 year home losing streak to the Pats, and instead of being congratulated by a legendary coach, he gets brushed aside. I'm sure he didn't lose any sleep over it, but you can see a little bit of disappointment on his face. If anything, it might just fuel his hatred for the Pats and make him really wanna stick it to BB next time.
