I saw a few when I went to the Jets-Ravens Preseason game and I just could not understand it. I know they were expensive guys, but how can you wear that #4 jersey as a Jets fan? It blows my mind. haha. I bought 2 Favre jerseys (Home and away) for $190 basically, but I will NEVER wear them again. 1. He isn't a Jet. 2. He ruined our 2008 season. 3. He threw us under the bus for 100K plus. 4. He literally quit during a few of the final games. (Clearly didnt want to play in the rain) 5. Well, you know all the reasons he sucks. Basically, just cut your losses I say. It is too rough to wear that jersey to a game. So for those who went, how many did you see?
That sounds odd..how do you see "at least" 33 favre jerseys? Why not at least 30 or at least 40? 33 sounds like an exact number.
Who cares. Maybe some of them are strapped for cash, and got the jersey as a gift and its the only one they own and they wanted to support the team. As said before, its not the name on the back, its the colors they wear.
I had a Frave jersey and its become part of my Jets wall. Although I think hes a dirt bag for using us as a rest stop on his way to Green bay. Its Brett farve ! He was actually are Quarter back for one season! There is not a person on this site that can say they hated the guy when we were 8 and 3 and saw that video of him screaming F@#$ Yeah running down the hall after beating New england. I love when people say nonsense like this. Your beef is with Tannenbaum and not Favre. Favre didn't just sign with the Jets, he was fuckin TRADED here. He wanted no part of being here but he wanted to continue playing ball so he came. Vent your hate where it belongs. He put in his year and got out as soon as he could..you should be happy.
Great take on it, But he eventually had two years on an official contract with the jets and weaseled out of it by retiring !!!! Its not nonsense. It would be nonsense if I had said this before any event transpired!
