Seems like a desperation move to me.

That Pats defense is by far the weakest it's been in years.

Signing a LB my Dads age doesn't really worry me, what worries me is that it worried you.

You know when they say Junior they don't mean it's his son or anything, lol.

Can Ty Law be far behind? Should we fear...an Andre Tippett sighting back in those Bob's Big Boy throwbacks?

LOL, WTF are you talking about? "Weakest it's been in years?" Where did you get that notion?

The Jets still have the better overall D, but the Patriots D has been surprisingly good this year, and we're 1/4 of the way through the season. They're not yet at the level of the '03 or '04 team, but this is probably the best defense they've had since then.

    Back to the OP though...

Seau is old. But he's smart. And he can help the younger guys. It's more about leadership than his play.

The Patriots defense is the weakest it has been in years, yes that is what I said.

You should take it as a compliment, the Patriots used to have a great D, I see them now in a defensive rebuilding mode.

Losing Seymour was a huge hit, or should I say retarded trade.

Maybe we should sign that bull that trampled his ass. Probably manageable under the cap. A few bails of hay and a herd of cow to screw.

I can't believe they keep bringing him back. They would be much better off letting him coach and let the young guys play to get some experience. Thats what they really need now. Not to jump the average age of their defense from 27 to 34 with one roster move....

Sweet. That opens up a zone in pass coverage.

    {Very clever use of brackets.}

    (But it might not be.)

I disagree, but respect your right to be wrong.

    Cheers.

all your pathetic posts that display your warped OPINION are laughable. The Pats D isn't what it used to be. Plain and simple. The Pats rely on offense. How you don't see this is beyond me...

Last year's secondary was pretty weak. So far they've done better than expected. They've only allowed 12 pts/game the last two weeks against pretty good offenses, and you'd assume they get better when Mayo gets back. So far the defense has been their biggest strength and it's the offense that's been their problem.

Seau is a sellout. Ask him how 18-1 still tastes.
