And no adjustments in the 2nd half...just all out blitz after blitz. The Jets blitz so many guys, they couldn't get past one another to make a play. Big test for Ryan in 3 weeks when the Dolphins come north...let's see how they scheme against this offense.
I couldn't agree more. Time to put up or shut up. Maybe it's a lack of focus. I've been bitching about the lack of adjustments for something we all knew was coming. Not only did we not have an answer for the wildcat, but we couldn't pressure Henne AT ALL. All of that blitzing and almost NO PRESSURE. This team needs to cut the bullshit and stop paying attention to bulletin board material. Do your talking on the field and STFU!!!
honestly the whole game we did not get any pusher and i think an out blitz every third down begins to get predictable miami made a great call wit the pass to fasano that got them inside the 5 being 3rd and 3 they did the sprint rite protection basically making our blitz totally useless. his calls are getting to predictable and when your not getting pressure stop risking big plays and play some coverage
We don't blitz and everybody bitches, we all out blitz and everybody bitches. We don't have any pass rushers pace is good but he isn't demarcus ware, the only way we are going to get any pressure is to blitz
Im pretty sure they will tone it down a bit. When you are smacking people in the mouth and are on top of the world, you need to keep yourself motivated. Weeks 1–3 (and even to an extent in the loss to NO), this defense played lights out. It kept itself motivated by jabbing during the week. Now that Miami basically shit all over our defense, they don't need artificial motivation
