#4- At SOME point he will need to make throws to win the game. Yesterday WASN'T that game, he didn't need to throw to win. 318 rushing yards, why throw the ball?
Playoffs? Playoffs? I just want to win a game here. With apologies to Jim Mora who says it so much better than anybody else could. Seriously, great post. Although I agree with WB that we're not going to the playoffs at 4-4 at midseason. It's going to take 10 wins to get there and we're not 6-2ing the 2nd half of the season if 4-4 was the best we could do with a weak schedule at the start. We're going to 7-9 if we're 4-4 at midway.
Thank you for returning my sanity. I was loosing it and you put some sense back into my thinking. . Great post. I would only add one point of criticism that is unacceptable. Penalties, way to many and they are killing us. That is preventable. In my opinion yesterday we might have lost the game on that point alone.
Jenkins is gone for the rest of the season, Sanchez is a rookie, and we are not trash talking anymore.
Good post man but i have to disagree The sky is falling. Where as good as done unless we can sweep these next 2 games going into the bye. An as for the Jenkins injury, Thats devastating.
At 5-3, we still have a decent chance at a wild card and possibly even the division. IMO, the next two games are MUST WIN games. With the Pats hitting stride, 4-4 would nearly bury us. I really believe that the Jets can pull it together and win the next three games before another showdown in New England. I know it's not looking good right now, but we're not out of it just yet. Two wins before the bye would be huge, especially for the team's confidence. DON'T GIVE UP!!! DON'T QUIT ON THEM JUST YET!! :jets:
