    Lemme be more specific:

How does Mangini take us to the SB? With his D? Do u think our D is why we are 3-3? Do u think Mangini's D would have been able to shut down Schaub, Brady, and keep Brees out of the Endzone? Do u think that giving up 16 pts in almost 5 quarters are a lot considering the 6 interceptions the offense threw?

It wasn't even going to save us from the Miami loss either. His prevent defense NEVER prevented shit and would have never prevented the Miami's pound and ground offense. Do u think his D would have been able to shut down the Saints? Cuz that would've been the ONLY way we win that game after the offense gave up 14 pts.

    You, sir, are delusional!

i didn't read any posts in this thread. I'm posting based on the title alone.

VG56 is known for psuedo-spamming bullshit threads at a rate of 1.4 a week.

He's either one of those Jet fans that look like the moron on MNF, or he's a rival fan and he's here just to stir up shit. i pick the former, he seems that retarded.

    Sorry this thread sucks.

Am I the only one that realizes the Jets are only a few plays away from 5-1? With a new QB and HC?

^Yea he's a spam dick. That being said - Mangini may be a good coach someday. After he becomes a successful coordinator/college HC for a number of years, and pays the dues that other successful NFL coaches paid. He was hired because he was once in the same room as Belichek. The Jets braintrust could have had similar results looking out the window of their office and picking the first guy that walked by. I don't think he will ever be successful, personally, but if he pays his dues, who knows.

every team is a few plays away from being better or worse than they are.

the Bengals could easily be 1-4, the Broncos could be a 2-4 team. The Jets are not some sort of cursed exception. They are just never good enough, and we as die hards to overrate them at times.

We definitely went with the wrong Bellicheat disciple.

I thought the Broncos were a joke, but they are damn good.
Josh McDaniels certainly seems to be the man, I wish he wouldn't wear that damn grey hoodie though.

don't overlook Mike Nolan one bit. He's not secretly coaching the team behind the scenes, but his coordinating is the reason why everything is working.

also, have you noticed how lucky that team is? They are a few plays away from being 3-3 or 2-4. but then again, every team is a few plays away from being a different record.

They remind me of a luckier, more talented Titans of last year. Too bad we don't play them in week 10 :)

Oh yeah, that's why I hate visiting this board after a Jets loss. Thanks for the reminder.

Yeah that Defense looks great, Nolan is doing a great job.

I'm probably more shocked about Orton, but with that D you just have to do what he's been doing, not turn the ball over.

    Sounds familiar but different......

    Yup Yup-

We didn't start 6-0 though and they play in a weak division.

Yeah I do have fond memories of that year. First year coaching he gets us into the playoffs, then the wheels came off.

    Damn those wheels!!

True, but Denver didn't beat Oakland 6 times to be 6-0. They have defeated teams such as Cincy, Cowboys, Patriots and Chargers. I put all these 4 teams in the top half of the NFL.

I don't know why, but I just think Denver is worst 6-0 team in the NFL in recent times. There's just something about them that doesn't sound good. Maybe I am wrong, but we'll see. BTW, being the worst 6-0 doesn't mean they are terrible. It just means they are the worst 'undefeated' team.

The Broncos are winning with sound defense and a QB that manages the game without making mistakes.

It's a proven formula to win.

Mangini is garbage. The best thing your organization could have done was can him. Just look at how great he is doing over there with Cleveland. I think he is a terrible coach.
