Obviously Ryan can't add...

This loss falls squarely on his shoulders.
But foregoing two extra points, he put unnecessary pressure on the offense.
The Jets would have had a lot more options at the end on offense and worst case is that Feeley makes a chip shot field goal to tie and go into OT.
At that point, since the Fish couldn't even move the ball, I would have been confident the Jets win in OT.

Bad loss all on the coach.

And the refs blow a clear fumble and a block in the back on Fowler on the 2nd Ginn TD - that was a 14 point swing.

It's not all on the coach. It's on the special teams for not stopping Ginn twice in a row when their offense wasn't doing anything for the entire game up to that point.

Yes but coaching decisions can be controlled - flukey plays on the field cannot.
He gave away 2 pts and the field goal for the tie due to bad coaching decisions.

oh come on..in those situations we were all hoping for 2 point conversions...we can all play monday morning quarterback but our special teams play (not coaching) cost us the game today. We outplayed the fins, but still found a way to lose..and fuck all the same ol jets talk..no one thought wed be .500 by this point. Maybe the dolphins are just the better team...

Sorry, it isn't Ryan who can't add. If the Jets kick the extra point on Edwards' TD pass the score is 24-20 Miami. After Haynos scores for the Dolphins they don't go for 2, but kick the extra point to make it 31-20 (this is the key point that you've missed). After Keller scores the Jets kick the extra point to make it 31-27, or go for 2 (as they did and failed). Thus, either way the situation is exactly the same - the Jets need a TD at the end to win if they don't go for 2.
