All hail Hideki Matsui: November-San. What an unbelievable night for the Yankees and Yankees fans. Andy Pettitte beating Pedro Martinez is just wonderful to see, perfect symbolism. Everyone can keep whining about the Yankees' payroll for a few months, I don't care right now: all I hear is losers criticizing the champions.
Like i said yesterday, you guys were concerning yourselves with the wrong things. Gaudin/Pettitte/AJ/short rest/long rest. I hope you guys were prepared for the more important matters.

A great win by a great team. Now they have to figure out how to replace Matsui, maybe Damon and get anywhere from 1 to 3 new starting pitchers depending on whether Pettitte wants to come back and Wang can come back.
2004 is finally dead and put to rest. Granted the collapse will never quite go away but this exercises some demons. FUCK YEA YANKS! 27! A big fuck you to: Ozzie Guillen, Joe Buck, McCarver, Chris Rose, Bud Selig, Peter Gammons, Rob Neyer, Mets fans inexplicably rooting for Philadelphia and of course the city of Boston. Everything is back to the way it's supposed to be.
GOJIRA.... the Fantastic 4 ..... & 27...... MVP GOJIRA THE CORE 4... THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA YANKEES WIN!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude... the collapse is DONE!! This isn't a team that took 86 years after a collapse to win a championship... it took 5 and it was to win #27!!!
Hey fellow Yankees fans, we've had our arguments this year, but I think there's something we can all agree on: none of the decisions matters anymore because the Yankees are the best team in baseball!
On another note, did anybody else find it unusual that Cashman was nowhere to be seen during the presentation or really anytime until way after it was over.
