BS call and BS fine and I expects more BS calls tomorrow. The refs are clearly helping passing offenses in this playoffs.

This fine is more about telling players, Lewis in particular, not to lead with their helmets and not to duck their heads down.

Lewis has been hit with this before, and he dosent care.

Seems like the smallest possible fine Goodell could have given Lewis.

The flag was the bigger fee. By far.

by fining Lewis, the NFL is clearly trying to validate the call because they know it was BS but don't want the officiating criticized.

Bart Scott commented on this on the radio on Friday, said it was ridiculous.

One is taught to lean in when tackling, stuff like this is impossible to avoid entirely. The only other option Lewis had was to let Collie score, so he made the right play.

the hell is ray lewis doing covering collie

ravens should stop complaining about calls man.

manning and collie split 3 defenders. he should've caught that anyway. he actually dropped it before the hit.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

... Oh wait, you were serious? Perhaps you need a refresher on the hit.

Boldin muscles locked up, he straightened out like a board, and fell to the ground shaking... Guess what? There was no flag for that hit either. Boldin needed to be carried away on a stretcher, while Smith eventually walked on the field under his own power. Boldin was out for a couple weeks with a broken jaw, and concussion symptoms, as was Smith. It's not about favorites. It's about what you perceive as favorites as a fan. Of course, us being Jets fans are going to look at it like the other team is going to get all the calls. But you have to be rational.
