    7 pro bowlers from each team? Ridiculous. It just goes to show what a popularity contest it is. Start putting Sanchez in a couple ping pong commercials or get Revis to do Liberty Travel promo and watch how many pro bowlers the Jets have.

    We had 7 last year cause of the Favre BS...

    (...That would be pretty kewl tho - could you imagine Carnival Cruise lines pulling in to Revis Island? bawhahaha!)

    The Pro-Bowl truly is a joke. I view the All-Pro first and second team selections as the true all star teams.

    I think the players really only care about it because they usually work little bonuses into their contracts for making the pro bowl.

    A total of 14 players ? seven from each conference ? have been added to the Pro Bowl rosters, replacing members of the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints who will be busy preparing for Super Bowl XLIV.

    Added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster are:

    QB David Garrard, Jacksonville (replacing Peyton Manning)
    WR Vincent Jackson, San Diego (replacing Reggie Wayne)
    TE Heath Miller, Pittsburgh (replacing Dallas Clark)
    C Kevin Mawae, Tennessee (replaces Jeff Saturday)
    DE Kyle Vanden Bosch, Tennessee (replacing Dwight Freeney)
    DE Shaun Ellis, N.Y. Jets (replacing Robert Mathis)
    S Yeremiah Bell, Miami (replacing Antoine Bethea)

    totally dont understand david. id give it to kyle orton first, joe flacco, palmer, and even sanchez before him..

    congrats to ellis though. to bad he wont be able to play due too him getting hand surgery

    Who cares? It wasn't the holiest of holies before. I'd rather watch most of these players than the ones they replaced anyway.
    Palmer dropped out due to injury.

    Need to get rid of probowl just make it an award ceremony should have the losers of the championships play in week before superbowl
