For a 6th and Rhodes, no boby will let you sniff a second rounder. Rhodes and a 4th might get you a 2nd, but nothing less than a 4th. Its not like Rhodes has been tearing it apart the last two three years. A low third is what he'd be worth. Either that, or a 4th and a conditional pick that can go upto a 2nd rounder if Rhodes reaches pro bowl caliber while giving back the initial 4th we get. If Rhodes stinks it up, (as in gets injured or plays like the pussy he is) then we get a pick as low as a 4th or 5th while not giving anything back.

    My $0.02

I don't think Rhodes will want to go to Cleveland. Didn't he bash Mangini a lot?

What? Rhodes to Mangini? As much as Rhodes has criticised Mangini's style, Mangini really has to be a true moron to TRADE for Rhodes. FA would be about the only place Rhodes meets with Mangini.

Mangini plays hard football as in tough practices. Rhodes is a pussy and prefers to see the team just on Sundays.

I have a feeling the Raiders are going to franchise Richard Seymour and that he will be involved in a Kerry Rhodes trade.

I think it depends on how much of Rhodes salary we are willing to pay. When it comes to trading players away, I wouldnt say I'm thrilled with what Tanny seems to get back. I know in both instances he did not have the upper hand and now he seemingly does.

Now I think we have a legitimate chance of getting a second round pick. Remember Rhodes has not publicly asked for a trade nor is he coming off of a major injury (like Kendall or Vilma). I think its pretty obvious what Rhodes full potential is. Now I wouldn't guarantee a second round pick but I think it is possible

What would you do with Rhodes?

In reading articles, these seem to be the most rumored options. Which would you prefer? I voted for 3rd rd pick - let Rex pick a guy that buys into his aggressive style more, and since Osi is a 4-3 guy, I passed on him.

Time to start another Rhodes thread, perhaps a poll as to what people think about all of the Rhodes threads on the first page.

Dream on. The days of hosing Mangina are over. There's a new adult in town who, for all intents and purposes, has grounded Eric.

I agree, especially when he says such ground breaking things like "I want to be here". Riveting stuff for sure.

Any way you slice it the guy has got to go. Sometimes it's addition by subtraction(Owens in Dallas).
When you have a malcontent on a team that is built the way ours is you cannot afford it. Everyone has to buy in to the system and follow blindly.
We play a very physical game and Rhodes just doesn't play that way.

The Giants are a team with secondary needs so trading with them would be a thought. Especially when they seem to have a malcontent of their own to rid themselves of.
