Meh, it could be a distraction, but I'm a fan, just like everyone else. And even if it is a minor distraction, which is all it would be, then that would only last early in the season. You think people care about training camp late in the year? Hell, do you remember beating Houston week one? I do, but I barely think of it in relationship to the rest of the year. I love the Jets. If this gets me to see more deeply into the team I follow, then I'd love it. It's not like we won't win the SB if we're on this show...
Agreed, there isnt a real reason that the Jets shouldnt want to be on hard knocks. Hell if we end up on the show, Rhodes might knuckle down and start kicking ass in TC, which would lead to him having a more productive TC. Same could be said for Edwards. Besides for those of us who can never get to TC, it allows them some Jets football outside of those pathetic preseason games.
No team that has appeared on Hard Knocks has won the Super Bowl in the season in which they appeared. In fact, no team that has been on the show has ever gone on to win any Super Bowl following its appearance. It must be bad.
this would be a great thing for the organization. it would give the jets a much bigger national presence in a short amount of time. i say do it. rex and hbo are a match made in heaven
I would absolutely be hyped for this. I love to watch the Jets and with some of the new pieces we have, it would be nice to see how they are progressing. Also we would get a close look at our picks from the draft.
if rex thought he could keep the team grounded and hungry with the t.v. camera's around all the time i would love to see the show feature the jets.
